Wow great vid but either you need to turn up the volume or RUclips needs to tone down the volume of their ads - it’s frustrating turning things up and down.
Hi!!! I want to thank you! Until I watched your video I could not get this to work.. I have seen so many videos on doing transfers but your the first one to explain how to apply the paint and what the paint should look, and to prime the plate. I literally gave it one last try before giving up! I finally got a perfect transfer!!! Thank you so much!!
Hi Lucy, how fabulous and brilliant the results are! I could have not imagined that the technics are just gelliprint and watercolor; You talent do the rest! Thanks a lot
Holy cow! That works AWESOME! Obviously the water spritz helps immensely! And just black paint not adding white ❤SOOOOO SOOOOO HAPPY u shared this video with us!!
I have done it on canvas, but you have to expect to get grain in it. Best to gesso canvas thicker and sand smooth. It does work well on art wood panels though. I do large artworks that way
@@lucysartstudio Thank you for your reply. Gesso canvas, so will I need to prep the canvas with gesso first or can I just mix it in the paint? Also, do I sand the canvas before or after the paint in applied? Sorry for all the questions, i am a beginner 💜
I congratulate you, I like what you do. I have tried to do it with a photo and I have not been able to achieve it. I'm using the same paints as yours and I do everything the same and it doesn't work out... I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've been practicing for part of the afternoon and I haven't been able to. I'll try it again tomorrow.😢
This is amazing! Would it work if I printed a photo on a laser printer and used watercolor paper? I'm thinking it would be amazing presents for friends! (Photos of them, not me, lol!)
Amazing...is it possible to use your own photos? Or if you would print a photo on a normal copypaper, lazer jet or ink print? And then transfer it with the gelplate onto watercolorpaper?
Hi ya hun I’m a watercolourist and just started using the Gelli plate I’m just wondering about copyright with this technique does it come under fair use ?? Are u able to sell these paintings?? And put on POD products???
To hear you /at all/, I have to turn the sound all the way up. This results in the ads suddenly and unpredictably /blaring/ from my speakers. Neither I nor my neighbors appreciate this. //Please// learn to control your sound levels properly!
Fabbylous work. TFS.❤
Superbe mise en couleurs de ces beaux transferts de visages!!!
Grande et belle leçon technique!!!
Merci pour ce magnifique partage très inspirant!

Fantastic teaching. Thank you so much. I can't wait to put your teaching to work. I love how you explain what you are doing. Brilliant!

Hi, i absolutely love this video. Does this technique work on canvas/fabric? If so, do you have a video on this? 💜

Are you using laser prints? Is your paint very thin? Some laser prints need a slight spray with picture varnish to make them work better
Wow! This is Brilliant!

Fabulous

Really cool!
Love your technique. 🥰
What brand of small watercolor trays are those?
I have tried and cannot find your facebook group?!?
Volume is real low.
Great video, but I can’t hear it. Had to use subtitles.

You need a mic so we can hear you...
Schade, in Minute 11 viel Potential verschenkt! Die nicht vollständige Abnahme hätte mit einer darübergelegten hellen Farbe vollendet werden können.
Can't hear anything you're saying!!
your voice is soooooooo low I can't hear what you're saying

Thank you so much for your input. I will keep that in mind. I am still a learner
Wow... you could have put it more politely...
Terrible results
