I have a cheap laser printer at home, so I am going to try the double up idea, as my just doing the single copy of a print didn't work, even using the color laser setting. I will try to print over the same image twice and see if that works. Thank you :)

1. Does the print paper have any coat or is it an ordinary print paper (from the print shop)?
2. What is the weight om the print paper? 80g, 100g?

Ordinary print shop paper, I have found colour copies to work best , it’s the toner that resists the paint & makes it stick to the gel plate 👍🏼 happy creating! Cheers!
Hi. I'm in Australia too. If you ask them to print twice to increase the toner layer it may work better.

I was thing to buy it because it no needs toner and it's tiny, but don't know if could be works with gelpressing :S @@FroyleArt

So adorable, the two of you. I have a "challenge" for either or both of You. A NatGeo paper print transfer, using a Chameleon or Interference color, then a dark color pull. *In my mind it's fabulous lol.

So much fun! Maybe a silly question, but how do you get your online images printed at Warehouse? Do print at home then do a laser copy there? Or do you take them in on a memory stick, or something?

You should do a test on printpaper. Could be that that matters as much as the toner.

I live in America and haven't gotten any of the laser print copies to work whereas magazines work great. I don't have a laser printer, is there any service or tips you recommend?
I'm using Full Color Print on Laser 32lb paper from FedEx (the standard printing)
I think it depends on the amount of toner in the print that resists the paint & makes it stick to the plate. So maybe ask for high toner? When you get your laser prints done 👍🏼 cheers!
I have a colored brother laser printer and I'll try single run versus double run and let you know how it goes.

I dont see you cleaning your plate in between; how does it magically stay so clean?!! Mine has tons of blobs of paint all over it and is a real pain to clean, especially if I've let it dry...What brand of gel plate do you use? Maybe ive got a dud!
I give it a wipe with baby wipes when I change colours. I’m using a Gelli Arts plate 👍🏼 baby oil can give the plate a good clean! 😍 cheers
Your pics had deep background more color to them Libby’s seemed to not have as much contrasts it could be her images she picking??
More likely the print copy 👍🏼 she couldn’t get many of them to work! Cheers!

How thick can the layers after the initial image transfer be.
To explain:
1. Thin black layer on gelli plate
2. Use print for image transfer
3. Let fully
4. Apply paint for second layer.
5. Transfer from gelli plate to paper
How many times can I repeat step 4 and still successfully transfer the image?
How thick can the layer of paint be in step 4?
Second layer for pulling the print is thin when you pull the print 👍🏼 cheers!
