Yes, we'll need to do some more exploring in Michigan. There are several places that we are interested in. Thank you. 👍😊👋

Is there another park that you'd recommend? 😊

Hey guys! Are these the tent campsites too or do they have fire pits as well? Looking to visit soon.

Yes, each site has a fire pit, and tents can be set up on any site, but check the site you want to make sure. I went in and checked only a few sites. We also saw tents only at several sites. There aren't any separate tent sites. Enjoy your trip! 😊👋

A lot has changed over the years at that campground. All of Michigan's campgrounds have been getting improvements, all for the better. I have people ask me, why are we staying here, move to a warmer climate. Well, born here, live here and I will die here. Not one other state has the same offerings for us. When our kids were young, we camped a lot in the State Park system. Best value for the dollar. With our current political climate here in Michigan, I will fight to preserve our constitution and end the communist control in Lansing now. Stay Strapped.

We've noticed in our travels many parks getting upgrades. The Tennessee State Park we are at right now is closing after Halloween for a complete remodel. We've also noticed more sewer sites than when we first started RV traveling five years ago. That's a good thing!
We have plans to spend more time in Michigan and check out other state parks there. We liked what we have seen so far. 😊 Best wishes.
