I agree, to a point. Once we repent with a godly sorrow, not a worldly sorrow, we have just taken the first step to know Jesus because we have been made humble during that encounter. From that day forward one should desire to diligently be reading His word, and meditating on it daily. The joy from a renewed heart will make you want to serve and please Him. His commandments are not grievous because we have the Holy Spirit then to lead and counsel us as we make the long journey of being sanctified. If we could keep His commandments perfectly, then there would have been no need for His sacrifice of Himself at Calvary. I am made Righteous through Jesus Christ Alone. He is coming back for a "pure" bride. And we should all be living our life that way daily. And how we do that is to daily die to self as scripture says. Would you agree with this?
