Many people have come to salvation in Christ through watching The Chosen. Jesus told stories in parables - The Chosen tells stories based on scripture. We will only know when we get to heaven how many souls have been saved from watching this series. I have watched scenes that edified my faith most deeply. So delighted to know Pastor Jackson loves it like my husband and I do! The Chosen has strengthened our faith walk ❤

Gold, frankincense and murr may also be the gifts to foreshadow the Lord Jesus's deity. Gold is His Kingship, Murr signifies His death, embalming and burial, while frankincense reflects His prayerful, spiritual life and Resurrection. These were certainly the gifts deliberately given to G-d's baby Son. Be careful to follow the Spirit of the Gospel and refrain from publishing one's own understanding.

I did listen to him and it reminded me more as demonic, Satan appearing as a angel of lite. When Jenkins made the statement to watch the Chosen as if there were no bible....???? " Did God really say..." These are huge warning flags about the Chosen. Unfortunately today people would rather be entertained then immersed in Scripture to know the real Jesus.

So, I have a question. If the Lord spoke to you and said “it’s time to change the world again”. What would your response be? Pastor, we have not officially met but you have the words the Lord asked me to deliver. I’m ready when you are! So if you’re interested in helping the story has 3 titles. “Luke I am your father”, Let’s go Brandon, and BLM forever. My only explanation is the Holy Spirit. But he set the scene and in my lowest moment he set me free to connect the dots for the willing. It’s not my plan but his. I’m his overcomer. Don’t be Luke warm. I couldn’t make this up. It’s the story of the logos I just get to be the messenger Brandon Lukas Murray chosen before birth, awakened at 41, now I’m always working for him. I hope this doesn’t fall on deaf ears. I really like and respect Allen Jackson, but this concerns me somewhat. Controverys seems to follow Mr. Jenkins, but not i the same way if followed Jesus.
I really like and respect Pastor Jackson and this concerns me NOT in the slightest. This is the “Culture and Christianity” Podcast and this interview fits like a glove. When we listen to Pastor Jackson preach he often tells us that, at times, he is also considered controversial because he says things people don’t want to hear. I am not saying this is the case here but controversy is often drummed up by people who don’t listen to a speech or podcast in its entirety. Inform your opinion accordingly and pray for discernment.

I am thrilled that Pastor Jackson has Dallas on this podcast! The Chosen has pointed so many to Christ and then wanting to dig deeper into the reading of God ‘s Word. Dallas would be the first to tell you that The Chosen is not a replacement for God’s Word. It compliments it. I am especially grateful that the younger generation want to seek and have a relationship with Jesus because of watching The Chosen. Really looking forward to taking my granddaughter to see The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! 🙏🏽❤️✝️
This is very disheartening to me to see Pastor Allen even sitting down with Jenkins much less giving him another platform to spread his twisted interpretation of the Bible. Now I’m in my 70s & when I first started watching The Chosen I was all in, even gave a lot of money to help get the 3rd series out ; then God opened my eyes. Pastors like Allen, McArthur, Hibbs etc. are so outspoken but speaking the truth God has given them from the Bible but this man Jenkins has misinterpreted & conjoined with other religions for guidance in writing their series. Mormonism & Catholicism & the LGB-ABC alphabet groups should have no part. I’m really going to have to pray about this & really question the people I thought were staunch followers of Christ that are giving this man their platforms to push HIS beliefs. I still believe in the 10 commandments, take a look at no. 1 & 2 & see what u think!?! Please help me understand 🙏🏻
You're very discerning. Keep to God's Word. Remember Revelation of the 7 churches only 2 were found faithful. Jenkins is decieved and so is Jackson. He is not showing biblical discernment about the show or Jenkins.
My wife and I have visited WOC over half dozen times and we've considered joining, even though he has Roman Catholic artist come up and sing at his services. We thought wow, why Is he involving RC's at his church? Does he not know they have a different gospel and different Jesus etc... Now he has Dallas Jenkins??? He's having a conversation as If they are two brothers In Christ when nothing could be further from the truth. Again, Does pastor Jackson not know Dallas Jenkins supports mormons and believes they are Christians?? Does he not know the Chosen Is based on Roman Catholic teachings and understanding of scripture and the lead who plays Jesus Is a ROMAN CATHOLIC??? Does he not know the people on the set of the Chosen also openly support LGBTQ?? What is going on!! Tell him that he has “transgressed” and what is He going to do for that transgression? The Bible says that He was without sin. I agree! As a 'seasoned' Christian and a woman who genuinely LOVES studying God's word, I often find the Chosen offensive because of it's representations. But, I have read and seen 100's who have come to Jesus and, just like he said, started reading their Bible daily and loving it and have come to trust Jesus as their savior. When I look at my life and the number of people whose lives have been transformed by God because of my life/witness ... it pales in comparison. So do I have a critical judgmental spirit? Or is it a genuine desire to see the truth of God and who he really is not be tainted by heresy? Honestly, I am not sure??? I struggle in this area. I think my young adult kids think I am too 'extreme" in my convictions. I don't watch most movies (I will not be entertained by sin and Satan! What a foolish thing to do) I honor the Sabbath ... something most people consider an option or not necessary at all but it looks like a command to me. I believe we should put God first in our priorities. Most people have a whenever I have time, and work, sports, entertainment are really their priorities. I believe prayer still works and that we should live every moment of every day asking God what are we going to do next ... because HE is the Lord of our lives. I don't get it right all the time, but like Paster Allen says ... it's like riding a horse, you don't learn in a day ... actually you're always learning, growing and improving. So what is the right answer? I don't know? But asking ... What does God want? I am inclined to believe God loves their heart and their desire to make Him known. Maybe my part as older, somewhat wiser woman is to pray for God's Holy Spirit to fill them and give them the wisdom and understanding He wants conveyed as they continue on this journey. I am reminded of how God began His work in me ... I was much more passionate about sharing my faith, my journey, my love for God when my life was still a mess. 😊 Now that my faith has matured, sadly I think my enthusiasm has dwindled. That should not be ... that's sad ... it's convicting me!!! ❤

I would say that God works all things together for good, but that does not mean that all things are good.
