God he played the song like an absolute Maniac I love it! The entire piano shaking, his emotions, him sweating profoundly just shows how much he poured his blood and soul just for the performance of this song! Well played Lang Lang!

Since about age 10, this has been among my favourite classical pieces! I love how Lang Lang interprets a piece. The only other time I’ve heard an equally joyful performance of this song was by Liberace!
And I absolutely love Lang Lang’s joie de vivre! I could watch him all day! I hope he comes to Canada sometime soon!

Well now - - the sheer vulgarity of this rushed-through "I-have-to-catch-a-train" performance is one for the books, as they say. Was it musically played? Most pianists would have to say 'no', although technically it was rather good. To be charitable, we could say that he was tired, and just wanted to get through it in a minimum amount of time. However, if this was the case, couldn't he have easily tossed off a waltz by Chopin, rarher than the strenuous polonaise? In any event, I'd like to think that under less stressful circumstances, he'd probably do more justice to this popular warhorse.
