One thing I noticed running in 4D shoes is that they're very quiet! The impact from every step is a lot less noticeable than compared to an ultraboost line. They're not the most comfortable but they provide decent cushioning and a very stable run. Love my 4Ds!
@@abdiel489 I think it's a fairly all-round shoe. I can do casual runs and 5ks relatively comfortably in them. Tempo runs I'm unsure because of the extra weight in the 4D sole so the SL20 or Boston 8s would be better suited for that.

I like 4d more then boost. Boost tends to loose its boost after a long time. Basically heel just snacks the floor after a while. But with all the 4d soles I have.The core strength of the 4d midsole is awesome. Breaking them in is a MUST tho
newer one is soft... but i like my booast... normall i wear jordan.. but as i get older.. boasst with leather lining is better.. i wear alex wong... look so so.. but good for go to work in long hour...
I copped these. They had 13s and when I went back to leave a review on the adidas site they were gone. They are awesome. I’m a bigger guy 6’2 220 so the firmness of the midsole isn’t an issue. Feels pretty good under my weight. Def keep an eye out for their next ultra4D drop!

Boost material is too soft for significant running but the UB has a great upper. This should make for a great running shoe. The 4d run has been great because of the firm mid. Looking forward to putting the ultra4d in running rotation and would be disappointed if they soften the 4d mid in the future
Bought the shoe, take it for a run and I stopped before even 2km because my feet were sore so bad, so bad, so bad. No cushioning at all. He was right this shoe is for people prefer stiff sole
I 100% agree with your review. I copped a pair and its definitely not as comfy as an ultra boost. By no means is it uncomfortable but ultra boosts are way more comfy. I still love them for the asthetic of the 4d mid sole tho.
SIZING FYI: these fit much more snug than the Parley DNA. I'm a widefooter and this shoe in size 11 was a no go for me, way too narrow. The DNA Parley in size 11 was good though
They are firm because they are made for actual runners and not really casual wearers. They are just as comfortable as any leather jordan retro. Its made INTENTIONALLY to be firmer than boost
Some woman sold me the green orange colorway completly new for about 20$ legit checked it, and it was real. Still amazes me how I got it that low. Really good shoe.
Tried few earlier versions of the Ultraboost due to the hype but I never really liked them at all, I hope Adidas steps up the game especially with other companies smashing the competition in 2021... Come on Adidas give us something mind blowing
I dunno if you'll still see this comment or not, but i recently bought the Ultraboost PB's in white/black fade. As someone that works in a hospital as a Porter, i am constantly walking 12 to 15k steps every work day, on concrete, while pushing patients on beds and stretchers. and lemme tell ya....the ultraboosts are THEE BEST Shoe i have ever invested for my body. before i was walking in some mizuno's but had those for like a year and a half and even after 10k steps at work, my feet and the back of my knees were getting so sore. After wearing the ultraboosts now, i couldnt even feel anything being sore. I have a reminder when i reach 10k steps, and when that reminder hit the first day i wore them, i was like...whaaat that cant be....i already did 10k steps? its crazy. The only caveat i have for the PB's is that the material is more rigid around the ankle and the material is just enough to dig into the ankle bone just underneath.
If there is one shoe that makes sense to buy used, it's anything with 4D tech: it absolutely softens up with use, so let someone else do the hard yards, save at least 50% off the new price and end up with a shoe that (so far for me) is halfway between an adidas bounce and a pureboost in terms of softness.
I’ve bought couple of 4ds recently for the looks and soon realized they’re just not as comfy as the UB. ditched them and buying yeezys and UBs, nothing will come close to that comfort. Older i get the more I’ll value comfort over anything else.

I agree the soles are too stiff when compared to the Boosts'. This design should be updated with softer flex patterns in the high impacts areas with added rigidity in support areas. We are still in the early iterations of 4D so my suggestion is to stay away for now until the really unlock the technology.
Try the 2k 4d! Total sleeper shoe imo. I picked up some grey and black ones and they look so good in person and are super comfortable compared to my other 4D shoes right out of the box, no break in. So worth it.
Copped the alphaedge 3M 4D sz10 black for $150 2019 january its 2021 jan now and I still haven’t even worn them yet still rocking my ultraboost18 parley atm
"if they could make it more squishy" - dude.... these are athletic sneakers and they are already plenty soft, you can even see it in your video when you step on them. Making them less firm would mean they lack the proper support and response when walking/running. Also, since it's a solid 3d structure it will break in and become more pliable with use. So you can't really compare them out of the box.
Typical Ultraboost I tried half a size up but that elastic toe box eventually started to crush my big toe, whole size up for me in most Adidas especially Yeezy

Got an Adidas outlet store here nearby want to get a pair of the OG futurecraft. The ultra boost 21s around here are sold out completely I was able to get a pair though thank God. And yeah man I go up half a size as well in Adidas normally in Nike I'm 10.5 and Adidas I had to go to 11 they're just too tight in the toes
I been using the zx4000 4d for over 1 year and it still feel like new thats why i would never change compared to ultra boost who breaks down usually after 6 months these 4d shoes is made to last! they are not more comfortable but have a stronger build quality. Just ordered the 4d black looking forward to try them :)
Ultraboost breaks down after 6 months? I still wear my laceless ultraboosts every day that I bought back in 2019.. It’s insane how well they’ve held up. But alas, the rubber is starting to come unglued on some bend point edges and I’ve worn through the sole under the balls of my feet, to where boost material is now wearing against the ground, so here I am looking at the black 4DFWDs since they don’t make laceless ultraboosts anymore and insist on putting plastic shit all over the newer ultraboosts.

Sneaker heads bro.. it’s an athletic running shoe. It’s not a walking shoe or a casual shoe. Comfort is definitely not the first thing that they had in mind when manufacturing this. It was performance. If you look at how this is made and manufactured you’d be surprised at how well these actually perform.
It's a walking, casual shoes for sure...performance not at all. And they are comfortable for walking...not for running. Also like other adidas like ultraboost...perfomance adidas are adizero adidas or prime x👍

This shoe can not prevent your foot from being smashed against the front end, stange traction with athletic socks on your feet. Shoe slides everywhere just while walking, even more while training almost makes the shoe obsolete in my closet.
how about durability wise? am no expert but i often hear from some users that rubber outsoles eventually expires after a year or more even not being worn. And as for the 4D i dont know how the outsole last. any thoughts? thanks

They should make,like a Climacool version of the 4D since it would have so much air accessing the bottom of the foot. Make an ulta breathable sneaker if it cannot be super cush.Hell, I have a bike light wiiith a cooling fan, so why not put a cooling fan into that sole,blowing on your foot.

4D definitely takes time to break in but to me I like mine a lot the more I wear them the better they are

You know what's a comfortable 4D? The adidas 4D Run 1.0, that was a great pick up for me. I think they made an improvement on the 4D tech.
Boost is more comfortable still for me, but I have the ZX4000 and Alphaedge 4Ds which are both pretty nice.
Ultra boost is the best shoe I’ve ever worn! Comfort wise. Forget the hype. They feel great. Anytime I wear anything else my feet hate me

They should make,like a Climacool version of the 4D since it would have so much air accessing the bottom of the foot. Make an ulta breathable sneaker if it cannot be super cush.Hell, I have a bike light wiiith a cooling fan, so why not put a cooling fan into that sole,blowing on your foot.
I clima cool version would be sick ! A fan in a shoe wouldn’t work tho sadly
