Both Carlos and Masayoshi are playing Yamaha SG guitars. Carlos had the precursor model the SG-175b that acted as a prototype SG-2000 (Takanaka's guitar). Yamaha designed the SG-2000 with the help of Carlos himself. It is known as the Les Paul killer since it rivals the Les Paul and costs a fraction of the price.

guitar virtuouso playing by everyone. Here's one for Dave to try that's totally different Its a prog, fusion, flamenco guitar jam w/vocals and horns, and even a little sitar mixed in to boot and all works great.
