The song Life is hard, but God is good" is a beautiful song, and it really touches my heart, every time I hear it. I was in the entrance waiting room of a hospital, and I had this beautiful song playing softly, not loud, and to show you how wicked the world is getting. A elderly woman came in sat down, didn't look too happy actually she looked very scornful. She got up from her chair, looked at me and said to me very rudely. This place was so peaceful and quiet until you played that song. I was so shocked. I did not have it playing very loud, and actually it is a very peaceful song. I felt an evil presence coming from her. I will continue to pray for her. I pray God will get a hold of her heart. You pray for her also.

WOW!!! I use to hear this song on Moody Broadcasting from Chicago any time something really horrible had just happened in the world. The space shuttle disasters, the Columbine shooting, etc. It was such a fitting song for times like those. Thank you for posting this. It's something we all need to be reminded of especially in the times we are entering into now. Life IS hard....but God is GOOD.
My son and daughter n law just had a miscarriage with her first pregnancy and I sent them this song praying that it’ll take away some of the hurt and help them to heal quickly..Great song with a lot of good truth to it....God Bless
This song got me through my miscarriage years ago. I decided that no matter what, my base point was that God is good and I'll work everything else from there. That decision has stood me in good stead many times.
This song could have been written about me. Praise God. He does know everything we think and feel He brought me through a long, long, long valley of shadow.
I have done just what you describe in really difficult times...But I do know that life is hard (I learned that from a wee age...) But I also grew up knowing Jesus...and God IS good. I have peace after my son's death, at age 29...I know where he is, and we'll see him again. People tell me I'm strong, but some days I don't feel like I am...I have quietly knelt, and He truly has given us his mercy and grace. Life is not always easy...I don't give up, I know he's walking with us until we go home; this world isn't it. When we go home, we'll see those we have lost; they aren't lost, they are safe with Jesus. I think I sent an email to Pam and she was gracious enough to send me a short note of encouragement, many years ago, now. It was really sweet.
