Finally sharing my Ube Yema Recipe! I have been getting so many request for this recipe on my channel. I’m finally getting back to filming and I’m very excited!

Ube Yema Cake
Ingredient:
Cake:
Egg whites 12 each
Cream of tartar 1/2 tspn.
Yolks 12 each
Sugar 700g ( 3 cups)
Oil 178g (3/4 cup and 1 Tblspn)
Ube extract 45g (4 Tblspn)
Evaporated milk 291g (1 1/4 cup)
All purpose flour 450g ( 3 1/4 cup)
Salt 1/4 tspn
Baking powder 3 tspn
Ube Yema Frosting:
Egg Yolks 240g (14 large eggs)
Vanilla 9g (1 Tblspn)
Cornstarch 80g (13 Tblspn)
Ube flavor extract 4 Tblspn
Vanilla 1 Tblspn
Butter 3 Tblspn
Condensed milk 4 cans
Evaporated milk 2 cans
Note:
The cake and frosting can be made a day in advance and just build everything the day that you actually want to serve the cake.

You can cut the recipe in half and it will stay the same taste and everything. You’ll get smaller cake that’s all. Xoxo

What is the size of cake pan did you use?
Hi Chef! I do not have the cooking spray, is it ok to just line the pan at the bottom and side with paper? Do I have to grease or brush with oil? Thanks for your generosity! God bless you more.
Yes you can use melted butter or oil to grease your pans

Hi chef thank you for sharing your recipe. Chef wala po kc akong steamer electric oven lang po. Ilang oras po pag oven? If u dont mind me asking.🥰
This recipe works in the oven but i like it better when it steamed. The cake stays moist.
@@ChefEvaKronenburg chef yung cornstarch po ay 13 tbsp po siya talaga? Pwede po bang white vinegar ang substitute sa cream of tartar at ilang tspn or tbsp po ang dapat gamitin? 😊

Whats the size of can on evap and condensed milk chef?
12 oz size of evaporated milk and 14 oz. size of condensed milk
