Which is the largest all-cargo airline regarding their airplane fleet?
In third place, we have DHL from Germany with 191 planes! Following in second place, we have UPS with 290 planes!
And number one, as an all-cargo airline with 385 planes in the main fleet and 284 within the contract fleet, is good old FedEx!
Now you know. Like and follow for more aviation facts every day.
Good old FedEx indeed.
But without any doubt, Aerosucre has the most competent pilots of all cargo-airlines... ;-)
My brother worked for FedEx for 10 years, and he would always say FedEx had the number 2 fleet of cargo aircraft in the world. Only the US military has more.
Damn fedex has stepped up their game with two sets of aircraft fleet, one main fleet and the other a contract fleet
Paid $640 for an overnight with FedEx of some critical parts. About 400 mile trip. Got it four days later. Thanks a lot FedEx.
FedEx needs to do better... In competing with UPS
Even though DHL have the least planes, but they still managed to deliver Internationally under a week
FEDEX 80+14=FEDEX 94😂😂😂😂😂
Both fedex and ups Midwest hubs are insane
Okay for package to be delivered to my apartment in Dunedin Florida originally it came from a guys Texas that he works for the IRS Kevin and he still has the package and I paid a lot of money to get that package when Alan had it At least 15,000 dollars they ripped me off He said he worked her DHL I would never use your airline for anything
I had a hunch about it being number one.
I've heard the cargo companies are a big buyer of old planes that have been retired from passenger service. They just strip the interiors and fill them up with cargo. Cargo planes can often end up being old and no longer used models.
I live 1 mile from London Stansted and seen FedEx flight #1 for nearly 40 years. In the old days FDX1 (Stansted to Memphis) was a DC-10. Then gradually a mix of DC-10/MD-11, then mixed in came the 777, sometimes a chartered 747. These days just 777, very occasionally an MD-11. They are so loud, love it! My 18 year old nephew has now got a part time job at FedEx sorting, London Stansted. He really enjoys it.
the UPS livery goes hard
Continuous up-to-date information Capt. Joe. Simple and priceless, always.
Cargo planes are angels because they bring supplies to the world's hungry and our other needs
That's a pretty big gap between Fedex and UPS/DHL, I didn't think UPS had such a big fleet
"Oh, yeah, we just broke half of the cargo upon landing"
What about Atlas? They fly for everyone like Amazon, UPS, FedEx but typically fly with the cargo airlines liveries but under flight plans it's still considered Atlas
Dhl with 191 planes
