This is perhaps one of the most fun James Bond game missions of all time. That sound of building speed as you lean on the bike is bringing back all the memories.
The way the effects change the view, the sounds of the bike and how gittery it gets... quite intense, esp when I was a kid. Loved and hated this mission. Was obsessed with getting all 007 style things, so many times I did this. One of the best games made, and it's no shock that visceral studios made it. EA was on crack when they dissolved the studio.
This mission alone made me feel like a badass in 2003 as it does now in 2021. Freaking good game right there. It's intense. Remember I played a demo of this game in 2003 and this level was in it. I played this mission over and over just because of how fucking cool it was. It's simplicity is what makes it so godamn good. A lost Era of gaming right there.
Haha me too! Never got the full game but boy did I play the hell out of that demo. It was so much fun, I always wanted the full game but by the time Christmas/Brithday would roll around, I wanted something else. Demo discs... Kids these day's don't know!
If you failed this mission, M would say "The city will soon be underwater, and so will your reputation!" The year after this game was released, that's exactly what happened!
I remember getting this game as a kid and this level was so damn hard and I kept thinking no way this is a real location. Flash forward to 2012 I got a good job doing IT for an insurance firm and they sent me out to New Orleans to go move our office in Metairie. The office was right on the water and when I got up to the 9th floor they had a beautiful view over the water and I saw the causeway going out to the distance and it immediately clicked in my head. When I got back to my hotel I looked up the levels of the game and son of a gun if it wasn't the same bridge from that game. They embellished the area a bit though that skyline at the end is a lot bigger than the actual one lol. Also the area you start isn't really a swamp it's very residental. Still fun to say I have been there!
@Ben Woodcock LOL, exactly! I don’t think the sea base belonged to SPECTRE, actually, but your point still stands :) It was never conclusively proven whether or not Stromberg was working for someone else.
Bond moments 1. Jump over the gate 2. Use missiles to destroy the shack. 3. Jump over the construction pieces to get over to the side 4. Slide under the truck.
same here, and i have the Demo to thank since the first stage and this one were the only available ones, and I often chose this one due to how epic it was
My favorite mission of any game honestly searched it up for nostalgia I had a hard time beating this mission but when I did I replayed it almost everyday lol😂
I did this mission 10 dozen times, might be my favorite mission in the game and I never knew about the toll booth jump (eventually got very good just Ipass breezing through em) nor did I ever think to use the flamethrower while in the cinematic where you slide under the tanker....LOL i learned stuff!
Fun fact: the Toxic waste Tanker Truck was later recycled as an NPC Truck in NFS Most Wanted 2005 & Carbon (it was last time used in the PS2 & Wii port of NFS Undercover); just without the mad max's armor and unfortunately the Tanker trailer was unused, but, it remains on the game's files.
I know RTgame said it. But I'm pretty sure that this was GENUINELY supposed to be the plot point for a whole movie. But they I guess didn't do it? Honestly would have made an interesting concept and what a cast! Willem Defoe as a Villan.
It's so chilling when M mentions "there's no telling how many innocent people would die" given many of those innocent people did in fact die a year later.
Why did Bond take so long to catch up to Jaws? You hear Bond start his motorbike just after you see the tanker drive away - what was Bond doing in the meantime? Having a little chat with M perhaps?
I remember this mission but couldn’t remember what James Bond game it was from lmao I had a demo with this mission and I think u played it more then any James Bond game😂 hopefully we get a new James Bond soon, but will never beat the older games
Started off kinda slow, but impressive driving none the least. My vision and reflexes aren't what they used to be, so I wouldn't attempt beating this mission nowadays.
This was a bit challenging to Platinum, but once I got to the end the first time, it was done with 9 seconds left. That run got me 400% efficiency and accuracy, while the Gold run got me 500% in both, giving me a nice boost with 880000 with the score.
The motorcycle is so sensitive on PlayStation 2. Any tips on how to get gold? Btw your so much better than me at this Graslu00! I am 16 and started playing PS2 in 2007 when I was 3. I've beaten the game but I am replaying through the missions to get gold and platinum.
I recently started playing GC version for first time and the controls were better on that version than PS2 version even if I struggled a bit with GC control layout. But I swear I got gold quite easily on Hard on GC but took me many tries with PS2 version. And I played PS2 version all the time.
Tyree Powell I guess that... He had a ball. Srry for the Roger Moore-like joke but srsly; you destroy his nanobot factory, and a giant ball falls over him.

I hear you my dude
Yeah that sound was intense!!
I've play it so many times. The best 007 games were this, Nightfire, and GoldenEye. Also From Russia With Love was a fun game.

EA was on crack when they dissolved the studio.
Ya that Shepard Tone makes this so intense still to this day
Hard to believe this came out 20 years ago. It desperately needs to be remade/remastered because it’s one of the best games in the series!
This mission alone made me feel like a badass in 2003 as it does now in 2021.
Freaking good game right there.
It's intense.

A lost Era of gaming right there.
I never played this game back then but I just got it and this mission is still badass and awesome in 2022. More fun than recent games
The fucking demo was the shit
I remember playing the demo over and over again for this mission
Haha me too! Never got the full game but boy did I play the hell out of that demo. It was so much fun, I always wanted the full game but by the time Christmas/Brithday would roll around, I wanted something else. Demo discs... Kids these day's don't know!
THIS, the game popped into my mind since I don't even know how many years.
facts
I’ll Always remember this as my uncles favorite mission and only game he ever played on my cousins ps2
Yes but the demo had the best music. When you go under the tanker the music kicks in it was awesome!
A legit Bond intro, Jaws, Pierce Brosnan, and Willem Fuckin Dafoe...this game was GOATed
If you failed this mission, M would say "The city will soon be underwater, and so will your reputation!" The year after this game was released, that's exactly what happened!
Oh yeah Katrina. I had to move to Texas when that happened
yeah Katrina wrecked the place and after Die Another Day, Bond had to be saved once again by Daniel Craig
@@ofearghailthefearless6481 That's Exactly Right
@@RisingBeast00 This level would have had to be taken out of the game had Katrina happened first.

I absolutely love how, in the cutscene of the tanker accident, the highway signs says "drive carefully" 😂 at 2:27
"I have a sinking feeling that won't be the last I see of him...." LOL, of course it won't! As the films clearly established, Jaws is 100% unkillable.
Yeah, Jaws has more lives than a cat!!!
@Ben Woodcock LOL, exactly! I don’t think the sea base belonged to SPECTRE, actually, but your point still stands :) It was never conclusively proven whether or not Stromberg was working for someone else.

me too
Likewise! :) When I was a kid, I'd wonder if that bridge was real, until I found out it was. Definitely a location I'd like to visit.
I loved this mission when I played this as a kid, the motorcycle going like rocket mode was crazy
Who loves motorcycles? 🏍
I can't believe they didn't make this a movie
One of the greatest single missions in video game history.
Play Station 2 was one of the best time of my life
The sound design is fantastic here
This was a crazy fun level
Yup. I used to play around and make Jaws destroy traffic. 😆
Perfect and flawless driving skills! I miss this game so much.
I remember this was the demo level for the game and I was blown away by the graphics at the time! Good memories!
This mission traumatized me. It took me so many tries for whatever reason.
Same
Same I was like 8 or something
feel your pain
This was my favorite mission in the game. Replayed it multiple times.
My favourite level featuring the Triumph Daytona Q bike. I love the ending of the level when Bond acknowledges Jaws’ fate.
Couldn’t tell you how many times I replayed this mission
My favorite mission of any game honestly searched it up for nostalgia I had a hard time beating this mission but when I did I replayed it almost everyday lol😂
My all time favourite mission of this game!! Makes me want a Triumph Daytona to this day 💛
This mission design is so gd excelllent. I must have played it tens of times. Maybe over a hundred. Good times
Man they did such a good job with the SFX!
Complete man child flashback to the young days, thanks for uploading
It’s been years since I played this. He was hauling ass across that bridge 😂
I did this mission 10 dozen times, might be my favorite mission in the game and I never knew about the toll booth jump (eventually got very good just Ipass breezing through em) nor did I ever think to use the flamethrower while in the cinematic where you slide under the tanker....LOL i learned stuff!
I remember when this game was at Walmart and at the same time when Walmart had those playable tv video games
My absolute favorite mission in the game. I played this a million times working up to Platinum.
Was skeptical of this a 3rd person game living up to the standards that Goldeneye set when this came out, but it did not disappoint.
Oh hey they use a Shepherd's tone to give the illusion that the bike keeps accelerating. That's kinda funny.
Good observation, I heard it too.
0:29
Angry drivers: Hey watch your truck, you jerk-
Jaws: *metal teeth smile*
Good thing it's the longest bridge over water...
Literally the longest in the world.
The exact moment that has been stuck In my head making me want to play this game again 😂
One of the greatest missions of all time
Awesome driving mission, kinda reminds me of the truck chase from the movie Bad Boys II. (Sorry for the late response!)
Definitely my favorite mission of this game!
Love how you're supposed to prevent a truck from blowing up just to blow up another halfway across the bridge lol
Another memorable level! I miss this game.
The best 007 player ever........wow keep up the good work!
This mission reminds me of the truck chase from the movie Bad Boys 2.
Thee best mission ever ..wow it was so much action.it was like a race game and bond game combination
This game was graphically so ahead of its time
Yo bro the way you handled that is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I bet driving against the flow of traffic was tedious and anxiety-inducing
This game deserve It to be a movie on the place of die another day
Show of hands... Who kept the flame thrower on the whole time and flattened so many tires on the other cars?
"Report unsafe drivers."
Nostalgia here, and Ehe, I Always Having Fun With Flamethrower Wings Here 😂
Road Rash on steroids , “drops mic”
So I just played “SWars:Survivor” speedbike section. This Bond Blows it away. Devs here made great stuff.
I always crash in into everything in this leve but I like going fast!
Yeah this mission was one of most fun of all time. Learned a lot about New Orleans as a 12 yr old
Sometimes i think the script and history of this game was for a game of mission Impossible
I know RTgame said it. But I'm pretty sure that this was GENUINELY supposed to be the plot point for a whole movie. But they I guess didn't do it?
Honestly would have made an interesting concept and what a cast! Willem Defoe as a Villan.
2:35
If that ain't the most the Bond moment ever, I don't know what is
If this game came out after Hurricane Katrina then this level would've been removed from the game.
It's so chilling when M mentions "there's no telling how many innocent people would die" given many of those innocent people did in fact die a year later.
This is exactly what driving the causeway is like
This was a blast for me since I live in the New Orleans area
This was my fav mission
Yall remember the demo for this lol the rappelling mission was amazing for this time 😂
Why did Bond take so long to catch up to Jaws? You hear Bond start his motorbike just after you see the tanker drive away - what was Bond doing in the meantime?
Having a little chat with M perhaps?
Whoever was playing this has like 90 40 vision!💯What the heck???
1:52 that was close!!
I remember this mission like yesterday good times
Appropriate and epic music to add in:
0:32 Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions Lock Down (Intense Phase) (stop at 3:00)
not Jaws again
Here we go again
I remember this mission but couldn’t remember what James Bond game it was from lmao I had a demo with this mission and I think u played it more then any James Bond game😂 hopefully we get a new James Bond soon, but will never beat the older games
3:47 Well, gotta go, I’m almost at the bridge now. Oh shit! I forgot! How am I supposed to send this shit out?
I know it’s a game but that’s no excuse not to wear a helmet 007
My favorite but yet the hardest tryna avoid rush hour
This is not what the Causeway looks like.
"Report unsafe drivers" lol
Esse é simplesmente um jogaaaassso! Muito a frente do seu tempo
Started off kinda slow, but impressive driving none the least. My vision and reflexes aren't what they used to be, so I wouldn't attempt beating this mission nowadays.
>Reduce Speed<
Not a chance 😏😏

best missions
My Triumph Daytona 600 doesnt have flamethrowers :(
the game EA use to make man omg
Was watching RTGame and he didn't get the truck explosion part in his playthru I'm assuming cos he was on the other side for too long?
Incrivel q sempre via meu irmão jogando isso e incrivelmente conseguir guardar informação q era 007
Before EA lost its way
This game need or a remaster or a remake followin exactly the same history Just like goldeneye classic to goldeneye reloaded with Daniel Craig
Even though this is my favorite driving mission. It's frustrating af when you're trying to win the cheat.
I was today years old learning this
2:39 that counts as Akira Slide?
The motorcycle is so sensitive on PlayStation 2. Any tips on how to get gold? Btw your so much better than me at this Graslu00! I am 16 and started playing PS2 in 2007 when I was 3. I've beaten the game but I am replaying through the missions to get gold and platinum.

@@barebarekun161 Nice.
2:20 how fast do you guys think that speed would be in real life?
160mph
is it true you could connect the gba version with the gc one ?
Yes it is possible, I don't know what it unlocks or does though.
Up late Graslu?
Maybe a little when I started uploading this, indeed.
Is miss nagai supposed to be an anagram? Miss again?
Before Uncharted
How did you destroy yayakov graslu00?
Tyree Powell I guess that... He had a ball.
Srry for the Roger Moore-like joke but srsly; you destroy his nanobot factory, and a giant ball falls over him.
Okay!
