      One more thing, what size o ring did you use to replace it, I can't find the specs online.

    Another technique to stop any leaking is also making sure that the seal for screwing it in isn't wet, because sometimes water drops will get into the seal and make it leak out, but this was helpful, needed to remove the spigot for cleaning.

    This is awesome! I bought the same jug about 2 weeks ago and it worked fine for a week then I noticed the straw section wouldn’t close fully and water would leak out if I didn’t have it upright. This video has completely solved the issue and it work perfectly again. Thank you!

    Is there supposed to be a silicone or rubber gasket for the lid? If so, do you have a source for a replacement? Thanks.

      No. I’m sorry. The jug in the video didn’t have a gasket and I don’t know of one that will fit. Sorry I couldn’t have been more help.

    Steve, how do I remove the handles to clean them?

      Good question. Unfortunately I haven't needed to remove the handle on one. I just cleaned the jug and handle while still attached. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

      @stevestorm9020 No, thank you! I got an old one of these from my wife's grandpa who passed away. Trying to fix it and got stuck on taking out the mouth piece and what o ring to get

    do you know any way to add a straw feature to this jug? i just bought one that was a part of the marlboro promotions and i just wish i could add a straw to it

      No, due to the way the spout pivots, I don’t know a way to add a straw feature to the jug.
