Goodwill Bachmann HO Train Mystery Box Find
In this video we open a Bachmann HO train set mystery box at a Goodwill thrift store and show what we find. Later, at home, I unpack and reveal the rest of the items in the box. Then I research prices and sell-through rates and tell the results and whether we will list the train set as a whole or sell it as individual pieces. I will also share with you, the testing and trouble-shooting of making the locomotives and controller work properly.

@stevestorm9020 No, thank you! I got an old one of these from my wife's grandpa who passed away. Trying to fix it and got stuck on taking out the mouth piece and what o ring to get
Another technique to stop any leaking is also making sure that the seal for screwing it in isn't wet, because sometimes water drops will get into the seal and make it leak out, but this was helpful, needed to remove the spigot for cleaning.

No. I’m sorry. The jug in the video didn’t have a gasket and I don’t know of one that will fit. Sorry I couldn’t have been more help. Thanks for watching 😊

I am certain you have army men from the 80's. The guns and missles could be Gi joe. Google lens will help. Keep an eye out for weapon or accessories from big toy lines

This is awesome! I bought the same jug about 2 weeks ago and it worked fine for a week then I noticed the straw section wouldn’t close fully and water would leak out if I didn’t have it upright. This video has completely solved the issue and it work perfectly again. Thank you!
Steve, how do I remove the handles to clean them?
Good question. Unfortunately I haven't needed to remove the handle on one. I just cleaned the jug and handle while still attached. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Please don’t tell me that you sold those engines for $33 or $75, they are DCC equipped and sell for a lot more then they look, I’ve seen engines like that going for $150-$250, it may seem a little expensive but DCC it’s some thing that people really want nowadays, and seeing that they were both still on their default number being three would say that this set was only removed from its box so its barely used being somewhat new, That is if they were not restored to default settings. Also, $33-$75 is what those locomotives would go for if they were equipped with DC instead of DCC
Thank you for your comment. I wish I could sell these engines for $150 to $250. Right now they are selling on eBay for $50 to $75. I have one listed for $50 and the other for $70 for two weeks and they still haven’t sold. The sell-thru rate is good so they should sell soon. 😊
You’ll be replacing a lot more pickets on that fence in the near future.

No, due to the way the spout pivots, I don’t know a way to add a straw feature to the jug. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
