I'm much too busy these days to construct a layout sadly. I come here to get my fix as it were. I last had a working layout back in the 70's -80's as a teenager. It was all so different with what you could buy back then. A fabulous layout Mick with an amazing collection of Diesel loco's. My jaw was dropping as the number went up. Thirty four Class 37's!! Hi Mick, absolutely stunning layout and video well done. Im just at the beginning of my layout journey as the wife bought me my very first train set. Only a small oval track with steam train and two carriages but im excited to get started in my loft. Oh btw I am 63 years of age so a very late starter. @@michaelsmith-hn1cn I'm actually about to venture into the world of layout building myself, moved to a bigger flat just so I could have a room dedicated to it. I did have a train set when I was younger that my Dad built but that's no longer with us so I can't wait to see the new 1 completed.
Hi. Good on you ,that's the best way to go. I started in a small shed then extended it until we moved into the bungalow, had the roof off and made the rail room. The video took me 2 days to do, I did the first day didn't like it had to do it again but on the first vid I had the 67's forgot them on the retake. Thanks for the comment, sorry to say I just don't like the look of the 58, not tempted at all. Top 3 good question. I could mention so many because the livery is what makes me buy a Loco. The Midland Pullman is 1. The Hattons 66's is another and the Sutton's Loco's have got to be up there. My top Class of Loco is the 37. Have a good 2022 and thanks for your support. Mick
