you mean the lift in tones? you gotta put the ring finger on 2 string 3 fret in the middle of playing the chord, and then remove it. i cant fully verbally explain when do you do this, but with this tempo and this strumming it's the last four before you switch to the G chord: UD (with the finger) UD (without)
@@mynexttry maybe it just my guitar but my pull offs or my hammer ons never sound nearly as prominent as these ones and i was just wondering if i was doing something wrong. Always drowned out by the chords and my hammer ons never have the strong sound hers does even w fresh strings so maybe a fret issue?
@@thicckermit6611 I think it can depend on various things. Like on one of my acoustic (with higher action) it’s easier to get clean hammer-ons but overall a bit worse (for me) to play, it also got thinner strings. The other one is more comfortable for me to play, but getting good hammers is hard because of the force I have to put in it.
it's pretty easy in theory, it's literally same piece (which isn't even difficult) being played over and over, with minor change once in a while. it just takes practice to actually play it well. what are you struggling with? maybe i could help
im pretty sure that for this song you play the Cmaj7/G here its just a plain Cmaj7. and then instead of staying on the Cmaj7 it goes down to an Em and back to a Cmaj7 for the little note at the end.
@@willaress idk chords that well so I might not be that much of help but he plays a g chord and hammers on the 6th string, then the 5th, and then the 4th, and then lifts up the fingers on the first two strings. And the second chord he moves down two strings, so just your middle on the third fret fifth string, pointer on second fret fourth string. And after a few strums he adds back the fingers on the first and second string and then lifts them up again before going back to a g chord and repeating it all. Sorry my explanation is lowkey shitty tho I’m not that good at explaining
