Thats too generous. Im at a 2. Album doesnt flow well which makes the decent songs fall flat
I was thinking lower but I didn't have a miserable time listening to it so I gave it some credit for that!
You know album is cooked when even r/metalcore couldn't get excited for it.
They basically say every new album is the best thing ever. This album didn't get a single praising post from what I've seen

When I heard a snippet of Happy Hunting, I couldn’t help but think of When Worlds Collide by Powerman 5000.
Not to mention, this whole album suffers from the “loudness war” compression. Not good.

Honestly, I was super excited for this album even after the singles came out. Hoping for at least a couple good tracks to put into my rotation. But I cant say any come close to my fav three song off of Manic, which was also my first Wage War album. Manic, Teeth, and, High Horse were my favs off of manic and nothing has hit like that so I am disappointed. I hope this is a good learning experience for the group and next album will be a banger.
Have you listened to the band Majin? I've been really enjoying them. They have two EPs District Violet and Warpath. Love to hear your thoughts.

2-3 semi good songs out of ten, easily a 3/10 score
Totally agree with you on the wage war review it’s not very good at all other than a few songs which kind of rock lol
Im gonna give this album a 1 out of 10. The 1 point goes to the engineer/master engineer/producrion crew. They did a great job.... the band... gets 0 points from me. Generic shitty cookie cutter garbage with Five Finger Death Punch 12 year old middle school notebook level lyrics.
I legit fell asleep trying to listen to the whole album in one sitting...I was soooooo bored. Manic is their best imo, specifically Death Roll
Octanecore at its lamest. Used to be into these guys before I started branching out and finding more obscure and inaccessible/avant - grade music. Not anymore.
Their older stuff is still fun to listen to but the lack in effort and creativity is just too much now
I'd probably go closer to 3/10, it has an occasional moment for me but like 90% of the album is just dumbed down recycled octanecore. It was largely both painful and boring for me.
Not only is it unusual that we've been agreeing lately but now you're giving something a lower score than me lol!
I think the synth did a lot of the heavy lifting for my ear. They didn't use it in a typical way and it make most the bad songs just slightly better!
