I just got my raptor R back she’s all fixed. New motor, new esc, new radio and receiver I found the problem my receiver antenna was crushed completely. Thats why it was glitching all week. And dude it took off on its own and I almost crash my brand new raptor R but she all good now. This time no more glitching she’s all fix now
Great Vid as usual. I've been running RC's since 1986 and been buying Traxxas since 2002 with my first TMaxx. Traxxas has made huge durability moves, mostly in the past handful of years. Had you run an older than that box stock Slash or any other Traxxas RC in that skate park more than @ 5 years ago, it wouldn't have lasted more than 5 minutes before shattering parts. And I am not saying that in a negative way, For me, fixing and more so upgrading is just as much fun as running them. But its good to see that a kid (or Dad) can receive a brand new Traxxas on Christmas or their birthday and not have it break on the 1st run like they so commonly would. Heck if it wasn't for broken Traxxas parts, companies like RPM, Pro-Line, MIP and countless others wouldn't probably exist.
Cool video Jay Tee, I've had Slash 4x4's since i got my first one on Christmas 2010 and i have 3 of them currently a VXL LCG, a HCG and an LCG Ultimate. I'm now building my LCG VXL one to loan out to my dad and my step bro and i'm thinking about using a BL-2s system and a Spektrum DX3 radio in it.
Awesome, people almost never take a slash to a skatepark so I'm happy to see someone do it. What park is that if you don't mind me asking? I'm in the same metro area and my skatepark has an awesome vert ramp, but it's very small otherwise.
I just bought one of these myself and I noticed the delay as well. At times it can be a little bit of a pain. I wonder if it’s a glitch in the new system
It could also be from the motor wires too. They're smaller than the 3.5 I think they normally use for the bullet connectors. I'll take a look closer look but I'm going to run it on 3s this weekend to see if the motor can handle 3s
Slower speeds combined with more durable parts makes for a naturally more durable platform. I would've handed that particular slash off to someone without experience. That way you get a better sense of what weak points will show up.
Now that is what I call bashing and having fun
Heavy Duty parts at work! 👍
It looks perfect on 2s and it's durable. Thanks for the video 👍
That chassis slap on the concrete is giving me anxiety bro 😅
You need to send this video to Traxxas , you beat the hell outa that truck lol , on concrete and the body stayed on 🙌

I really enjoy these skate park vids, but nothing will beat the XRT splashdown video , now that was fun!
I enjoyed that as well!
Nice one
Great.aggressive run. 😎

@@JayTeeRC Looking forward to it.
I got with Traxxas about this and they said it was part of the new system and is working like it should.
Dope
Would love to See how fast it is compared to brushed on 2s lipo??

On 3s that motor will probably burn up. The stator windings seem pretty small.
Body never popped off! I didn’t know it came with a plastic center driveshaft.
Jay! Do Arrma Gorgon tires/wheels work on the traxxas slash?
no
Stock slashes are not bashers... I learned the hard way lol...
Can i run it on 3s (i am new to the hobby)
do the 3s
