I really appreciate your interviews of such great model builders. They show other model builders what can be done with patience and attention to detail. Thank you Doug for bringing us along on your journeys.
Steve always has the most interesting and cool model cars in any show he goes to. His models are not loud and flashy but are usually the best in the show! I am a big fan!
So glad you were able to spend time speaking with these individuals at the show. Nice to hear about the details that may have been either overlooked, or missed have not spoken with the builders.
I built models as a kid, form like oh 9-13 yrs old or os, built over 100 maybe I dunno really a lot, I stopped when I had to go out and live in the world take care of myself, my last year at age 12 entered 3 into the washington state fair, won 3rd in the custom division, baby blue 1950 Ford Custom, hot rodded... forget prolly an MPC those were my fave maybe an AMT? brings me way way back, boy....you've done a fine job here... I did cutty sarks, semis, 1/15th diamondbacks . . I enjoyed it thoroughly and it taught me a lot about cars, I built a few working engines as well, where I learned what a crank, pistons, cam, head, block, were, engine internals... such a nice job here
Your videos are so wonderful. I love that you interview the craftsman and wow, what a great build. There's so much going on in the building of both projects. Great job!
So many great details and explained by the builder. One detail I would like to point out is the trailer hitch, watch for it @ 6:58 - 7:02. Steve has thought it all out.
Absolutely beautiful. I had an 82 El Camino SS. would love to have a grill and the lower front valance to replicate mine. Nice prindel, I had a 2007 hobie 16.
Thank you, Steve, for showing us what a really good day looks like!
The build quality and attention to detail these days is just unbelievable! Thanks for the coverage of GSL

Awesome builds and a great interview. Thanks, Ron
That's absolutely amazing. I share a Prindle 16 with my nephew.
Really super details, amazing that he could make the hood hinges function like the real car, and amazing details on the boat too.

Love your vids, always enjoyable and with great production!
Very Nice Set Up SIR
I've seen this car in person. It's a must see if anyone gets the chance.
Plenty of detail that would have you looking at it for hours.
NICE 😊
Well 1st 2nd and 3rd had time be outstanding cause the sailboat and elcamino are superb
Man, if he got fourth place, I wonder what 1st, 2nd, and 3rd was. What a beautiful El Camino!
I love this setup. I love the boat. I hope to build one in the future. The elcamio has me speeches, though 🔥🔥
Wow that’s absolutely perfection! I would love to know how you made the seatbelt retract now that’s details!

If this fine model was 4th place, what won the other 3 places above him? Amazing details.
