Watch this one to the end! I'm back from Italy and excited to be back trucking again! In this episode I take the new T800 on it's maiden voyage hauling materials.
Mike, I’m glad y’all had a good time in Italy. I’ll check out that video. I haven’t had a chance to. Sorry your pinstriping got flaked out. But that’s artist they do that.😂😂😂
I worked for years on a small tight board. 7 trucks. I was senior driver and 2 drivers who had the same experience as myself were really touchy about thier trucks being used when they were on vacation. We were all about 57 year's old and the one would schedule his truck for a pm and whatever it needed at our main shop and HQ whenever he was on vacation and the other just made the "" decree "" that nobody's driving my truck whilst I'm away. Well, you're not the owner of the trucks and if either one was needed for a driver who broke down... Yeah, as long as you topped it off and didn't leave garbage in it? I'm fine with you driving the truck. As someone once said, "" Team Work""-- Makes the dream work""! Safe travels and blessings. Shalom.
Love the channel. I used to run MA a lot Tewksbury, Lawrence, Shrewsburg, Woburn, Wilmington, Fitchburg out of Reading Pa. Now I’m just local & Jockeying
Watched it to the end! That T800 is AWESOME! You are AWESOME too! Going to Italy would be incredible, I'm sure thanks for sharing your experiences and taking us along... Be safe can't wait for your GEARJAMMER coverage.
Hey Mike, Looking forward to seeing you and the new ride this weekend. I haven’t been following the post on the new ride for little while wanted to see this beauty and all your ideas in person. Se you at the show!!!
We took vacation in the early day's, at every truck show 🤣 many vacations during the year 👍 same here nobody drives my truck and when it's in the shop it's not out of my sight, I stand at the door and sometimes you get a good mechanic and he explains everything he's doing and what waa wrong, that's how I learned to work on it. Safe travels buddy thanks for sharing 👍🇺🇲
Ah yes, rattles, backwards airlines, and sagging trailer lines, all part of the new truck experience lol. Usually takes me 1-2 weeks to sort out a new truck, but once the details are sorted, man they're sweet!
Great video mike enjoyed seeing the pics of Italy just keep up the great videos don't worry about nobody else what the heck with the negative comments Anthony's doing the right thing looking forward to seeing you in that new w900 yee haw!!!
I've never been on a cruise, but I've always wanted to try a cruise like that. Seems like a good way to see the mediterranean. 800 is a nice truck, even with a school bus transmission lol. They're the right mix of areo and bulk with a touch of old school. You were just working out the kinks for the new driver. would have been a bigger pain to come back after 1 month and a half and have the air lines backwards.
Hey Boston trucker how are you doing today my friend so how's your trip to Italy and Spain and I love watching our videos they are very educational videos and keep up the good work and hopefully we will see you in your new truck soon
Why does it matter your senior driver there. The owner respects your opinion and wants your input on the truck. He also knows that you will take care of it and not trash it. Glad to see the new trucks
Someone else has to drive your truck you usually have binding gears and the clutch doesn't feel right (takes couple of hours to feel it back) and have to readjust your seat,,,😅 Thanks Mike,!
Good for you and your wife for paying for college. We don’t have a student loan crisis, we have a parenting crisis. My kids are 6&7 and they each have a decent chunk of money in their 529 accounts. $300 a month invested adds up very quick. It doesn’t take much. Unfortunately, most parents park their kids college fund in the driveway.
Do you think about the exposure that caudillo has now because of you doing those videos you've expanded his business and I'm sure they appreciated that's why they take good care of you
How many cars did you almost rearend from the Allison automatic lurch 😂 Stopped at a light, you either put it in neutral or make sure you have your foot on the brake firmly. Its the automatic that makes the truck rattle the 4700 Western Star I drove same thing. Once you get on the throttle, the rattling subsides. Yep Anthony made you the guinea pig he'd know he'd hear the complaint list on the T800 😂
There's ALWAYS one...... unfortunately.....smh.....you'd really had a beast if you'd gone with a 2050tq👍🏻👍🏻,.....I heard that Eaton not gonna offer the 18spd anymore in a 1850tq....2050 only....🤷🏻♂️......love my 2050👍🏻👍🏻....lookin' forward to next vid
Yup- I watched till the end. I usually do. With my own channel I look at stats and such and know it helps. But...how can one NOT watch till the end of one of Mikes??? Haha! Yes- we had some crybabys at the last place I worked (32 1/2 years) who whined when the MECHANICS ran their truck!! To test work that was just done! Oh well, you're very fortunate Mike to work where you do. Auto-shift??....ehhhhh.......
Mike, there’s always a clown or two that has to throw out their stupid opinion based on their stupid thought. They don’t have a clue which they keep their mouth shut.👍👍👍
Hey Mike.....your commenter evidently doesn't know how small companies and some larger ones work. New truck 90% of the time will be test driven by an older, experienced and trusted driver to be checked for problems and defects. Great job and now get back to work and quit slackin. HAHAHAHA
Mike, I’m glad y’all had a good time in Italy. I’ll check out that video. I haven’t had a chance to. Sorry your pinstriping got flaked out. But that’s artist they do that.😂😂😂
Glad to see true old school truckers still around. I started driving in 1975 still going strong. Love your channel
Right on my friend thank you 😊

Good evening Mike! Thanks for the Wednesday surprise! You know as well as I, there’s always that 10%, that mess things up for everyone else!
You bet my friend, I understand.
Glad you’re back ! Now let’s get the videos happening !
They're coming in a big way!
The hook on the end guys hook to a reefer unit. Raise the idle speed with the cruise switch to maybe stop the vibration.
10-4
Ah yes, rattles, backwards airlines, and sagging trailer lines, all part of the new truck experience lol. Usually takes me 1-2 weeks to sort out a new truck, but once the details are sorted, man they're sweet!
Right on, thank you.

Said it well 👍💯
The rattle on mine sounded the same. Passenger side bottom step bolts were loose
Thanks for the information
Super💯video. As always.
Thank you! Cheers!
Check out the Minimizer floor liners. They’ll keep your floor looking like brand new for a long time.
I need those!
YO TRUCK AH BOY MIKEY I SEEN YOU ON THE ROAD LOOKING GOOD OLD MAN LOL
👋👋
Hey Boston trucker how are you doing today my friend so how's your trip to Italy and Spain and I love watching our videos they are very educational videos and keep up the good work and hopefully we will see you in your new truck soon
It was the best! Thanks for all your support!
most people that have all the answers have not seen all the questions
So true
In the long run, your left leg is going thank you
It doesn't 🦜
Why does it matter your senior driver there. The owner respects your opinion and wants your input on the truck. He also knows that you will take care of it and not trash it. Glad to see the new trucks
Yes exactly and I would never pull the seniority card, I always hated people who did that.
Look at my old truck I used to drive in part 21 minutes
I see that
Good morning from New Zealand Mike, sounds like a good trip
Morning! It was the best thank you!
Well I hope Freddie is ok. LOL arrogance comes with being a super star. Keep it shiny side up.
Will do.
Mike your truck is bad to bone 👍👍👍👍 “Mike the millionaire trucker” 👍👍
😂😆 thank you 😊
Keep the video's coming.
Yes
Someone else has to drive your truck you usually have binding gears and the clutch doesn't feel right (takes couple of hours to feel it back) and have to readjust your seat,,,😅 Thanks Mike,!
Great point!
Hope to see you at gearjammah!! I’ll be racing my Autocar and dad with his.
I want to watch you race!
@@TheBostonTrucker you’ll have your camera there! 👌
Why the Alison and not Eaton trans? It seems to me the 18 auto shift would be better in heavy haul.
😊hey good evening from your gravel hauling friends out here in the alamo city, San Antonio Texas
Hello there! 🤠👋

529 is a great plan keep up the great parenting!
Another grand tactic Mike
😊
Mike you be just givin up the Truckin Science☀️☀️
15:38 - An unintentional bit of comedy...
Hi from Dexter🏠Missouri
👋
Do you think about the exposure that caudillo has now because of you doing those videos you've expanded his business and I'm sure they appreciated that's why they take good care of you
They're known around the world because of these videos but I don't think it adds up to much real money for them but they enjoy it.
Good to have you back brother
Much appreciated

Well I will say, it's much better with a load on.

Hah yes there is.
My friend.
💯👋
You should buy that old Kenworth from caudillo that truck and you are the star of the show
I'd rather save my 🤑

The pto gear likes to rattle in the Autos for some reason. We have 3 Pete’s that go it
Good to know.
Mike don't let that comment get under your skin consider the source
Thanks pal I won't. Thanks again for the cool underglow lights, I love them!
Capri.... ain't that where those short pants come from??
Must be! 🤔😁
Mike, there’s always a clown or two that has to throw out their stupid opinion based on their stupid thought. They don’t have a clue which they keep their mouth shut.👍👍👍
Turning the idle up a bit might take them rattles away.
We will have it reprogrammed.
Mike, what’s the plan for your old truck? They going to keep it for a spare? Or is it going to be put up for sale?
Spare truck
The oil pressure looks really low for a x15, ours run 20-25 at 210-220 oil temp
Interesting 🤔
So did your buddy stay in the new Mack?
Yes he did
Will you be at the show Saturday?
Yes and Friday
How does it pull compared to the Western Star?
More horsepower so much better.
@@TheBostonTrucker I always thought the DD16 was underwhelming

Thank you
What’s that loud vibration on that new T800?
I'm not sure yet but we'll figure it out.
Where did you sail from ?
Barcelona, Spain
Call Larry hook
Ok
ya gotta compare the two wtf
Um okay 👌
@TheBostonTrucker I am not a trucker I am just interested in trucking. I love your channel and you are okay dude. 🙂
I appreciate that, welcome aboard. 💯👍
I don’t know how to drive an automatic
Don’t know if I’d be able to learn
Hahaha yeah it's not easy pressing D 😜
