My first job ever was an IRL horror walking simulator worker. I WAS the jumpscare and atmosphere.
Amnesia still slaps though, except for only a few puzzles later in the game, and all the fan made maps really helped it shine too

I know its not exacly the same but Penumbra: Overture gives me a bit of the same "feel" like the games in this list.
