Infinity Bubble Braid Tutorial

I created this look this week using a tool I received in my BTC Sampling box from @behindthechair_com and @lineonetools - the @lineonetools Triple Barrel Off Duty Wave Iron!! I am obsessed with these effortless beachy waves that it created!! This is a must have tool for your bridal kit! 💯
This look was inspired by the incredible @samirasjewelry 💞
I used Kenra Professional Hot Spray prior to using the wave iron for Heat Protection and hold, Moroccanoil Pro Dry Texture Spray to break up my waves and add texture, and Number 4 Haircare Smoothing Balm in by braids.
Here are some things you should know to help you understand how to create infinity braids:
1: You need three sections, one of them is a traveling section, (I usually make that one smaller than the other two) that moves in a figure 8 shape around the other two sections, which stay still.
2. To tighten it up and prevent gaps, you can pull the two sections that do not move away from each other while pulling the moving section tighter.
3. As your moving section gets thin and shorter, you need to add a piece into it from one of the other two sections, I alternate adding a piece from each side as needed, to make sure my the two still sections stay the same size.
4. You want to make sure that if it’s getting tangled up at your ends or frizzy, that you comb out as needed to keep it looking clean.
5. In this style, I am removing a piece from the outer side of each of my 2 still sections after one full figure 8 motion with my 3rd section, and clipping those pieces to the side before my next figure 8 begins. This will make the braid start to become smaller and form a triangular shape. Once it is too small to continue I am using a clear elastic to connect my traveling section to one of the 2 still sections. Then I am removing the hair I clipped to the sides, and then banding all of the hair from the braid to form a bubble braid.
