Another great video Paul! It's hard to beat single wall titanium bottles and cups, especially over stainless steel. In fact, I gave away all of my s.s. bottles, except for my 64 ounce Pathfinder s.s. bottle, which I keep in my truck. Nalgene also makes a bottle made with softer HDPE material that is also designed for hot liquids. Grayl is also releasing a titanium geopress (but costs $200.00). But I still use a 100-oz CamelBak Mil-Spec Antidote hydration bladder.
I enjoy your reviews Paul, always good to see different kit, gathering ideas of things to do with my boys. Cpl Kelly said to let you know he sent me over!
Just remember that cooking in thin wall titanium or stainless is not something I'd promote. They heat water great, and the trick I use, boil the h20 add it to the food, after the food has rehydrated then pour the food back into the pot, stirring constantly to avoid burning. Remove promptly from the heat if any sticking of food happens. It's amazing how fast burning your food is when cooking with thin wall steels. As for a water filter my favorite I've had for at least 20 years, is the MSR water works, while they don't make the same unit, the filter is the same as the newer ones. As for stoves the MSR dragonfly is one if not the best back country stove one can buy. It will burn virtually any liquid fuel even that stuff in Bolivia or Peru they sell. Hope that helps
Good overview Paul. These videos are extremely helpful. I'm sorting and organizing the various containers I have. I do like the military style, still deciding on some final products. Thanks for all the info.Bravo.
Good stuff. I need to get some titanium like that little pot frying pan setup. found some mule tape not much but made a set of hammock straps going to try them out.
@@adaptablesurvival great hanging in my kiljaro right now I didn't have enough for a regular but My shelter in the grove is perfect for what I had. I had 2 different piece's the shorter was about 3/4 in. Think it said 1250 Pound hard to read just some stuff I picked up along the way.
CNOC bladders make water collection easier and attach to preferred water filter. Known to get pinholes though. So some go with the platypus or evernew bladders for durability. Paired with a sawyer squeeze its pretty full proof. I like evernew products for ultralight titanium. I use Katadyn BeFree with 2L Hydroflask bladder and 700mL soft flask with bite valve in my shoulder pocket to drink out of easily. throw in another 2L hydroflask and you have almost 5L for very little weight.
Yes, I too prefer Cnoc bags as a soft container for gathering water. I used clear Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape to patch the first bag. I like the bag, bought another and then taped the entire bag before going out. (Lessons Learned)
Nice video and collection!! If one is on budget, I have been using the old aluminum French army 1.2L canteen/cup system for years, amazing cheap kit!!! I have few videos using this system in my "channel"! Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪
Your good...and sincere...suggest a little more research to be able to present facts initially instead of so much of.. I will seriously not present that later across the screen or...let ya know later...not a troll bro..hopefully some mild constructive input..your really good.

Exactly, I don't cook in my titanium. I am planning on doing a video about cooking in metal.
Good options , thanks for sharing , God bless !

Glad it could help!
Great video. Came over from the Corporals Corner channel!
Nice video Paul, but please try better lighting on your next video, some of your older subscribers don't see as well 👍!
Great video, thanks, saved 😉
I like to have my coffee and my oatmeal together in the morning, time wise, not container wise… 😂 I agree 100% on the two pots/pot and cup decision
Hahaha yeah, may or may not have made that mistake before.

I've been wanting to test out the mule tape as hammock straps. Let me know how it works for ya!

I have 2 CNOC bags with a Sawyer Squeeze. I've never used them much but definitely will be next year.

Cpl. Shawn Kelly (Corporal's Corner) told me about you.
Same here.
Thanks for sharing Paul. I can't think of any input on my end but I also know comments help move the channel so here I am. Keep em coming.
Thanks brother!

I appreciate that Darren. Main reason, I didn't bother too much with writing down the weights as it was a huge part of the overall discussion.
