❤❤❤❤ I am in the US and absolutely love all your videos !!!❤❤❤
And yes I did buy the Sabbath hand of doom set 🎉🫣👍
Thank you so much :)
Hi Phil
Love your videos Phil, keep them coming and happy new year 🎉
Thanks, you too!
Slowly making my way through my RUclips 'watch later' from the holidays, and really been enjoying these shorter videos as chunks.
Thank you for watching! Phil
One thing that sticks out about this series: Cherry Red has been busy the last year. 🤘
Phil, Wow ! Thanks for the video...
Happy 2024.. 🎉Wow. Great Box set. 👍
Thanks to your videos, I picked up the Beck, Boggart, Appice CD box set & I was not disappointed.... Love it!!
I'm loving these video's more and more thank you 👍✌️
More to come!
@@NowSpinningMagazine looking forward 😁👍
I hate to think how much you've shelled out for all these amazing box sets. 😁
If they could have Crabby Appleton [2 albums + Micheal Fennely;s 2 solo albums} That would be awsome. "Strangers Bed" & ......? All good. I love how you cover American Bands. Way to go. Love this channel. 2024 is going to be great !!
Thank you - Phil
Enjoying this run down so far, would love to hear what they've done with the long awaited Tony Martin box set which is scheduled for release in May and also we will get two Sabbath related items in one year with a remix of Born Again?
Interesting choices Phil! Sabbath Never say die deserves a proper remix! As others have suggested!
I think what you do is great you have brought me to so much new music and you’re top 50 box sets of 2023 so far is great to I will be skint for a long time buying all these box sets you have introduced me to thank you so much.
Can’t wait
Appreciate your content and of course shared knowledge
Happy New Year. Thanks Phil for you're great videos. Sold many items you mention in you're videos. Keep up the good work. Cheers
I do like Never Say Die but if there is a Sabbath album begging for an extensive remix it's this one.
Ozzy 👍✌️
Love these "best of 2023" videos, this series of videos in particular, and the detailed reviews of each set (in separate videos). As others have pointed out, these can be pricey, and it's great to know everything we can about each box before shelling out the cash. I've avoided some mediocre sets thanks to your advice.
The only one from this group of ten that I sprung for (so far, anyway) was the Hawkwind set - essential for fans of HW and fans of 5.1 mixes!
Thanks for your efforts, Phil!!
Awesome, thank you!
Live Evil fantastic
Great video Phil ,some serious variety in there & I love hearing your views on releases I would not normally buy ,looking forward to seeing what’s in the top 20 & how many I have !
Glad you like them!
OK Phil I assumed that Beck Bogert Appice boxset was a label cash-in on Jeff Beck’s passing and I previously found it a bit unsavoury if that was the case. Did not realise he had planned it and been involved before he died. Still curious about why this material remained in the vaults for so long but thank you for the clarification.
The material was in Jeff's Garage. He had invited his sound guy Ben Findlay over to have a look through his archive which was also where he kept his cars. This was just to see if there was anything worth working on and they found the London tapes! You have to remember at the time, the band had split, Jeff was thinking of Blow by Blow and he had moved on as had the other musicians. Phil
Great stuff Phil, pity reaction channels never show physical product lol.
Plus most reaction channels limit their content, nothing extreme etc all safe Melodic Rock and AOR.
"...wiggley bits and mathmatical time changes."
Agree Phil I am sick of moaners about box sets ooh should have had etc bs forgive my French lol
Pretty said when reaction channels harp on about new bands, react to a single eeek hate that phrase its a preview song
One reaction channel lol down your neck of the woods Doesn't like Led Zeppelin Deep Purple Uriah Heep Yes Genesis oh dear not much taste lol.
Stuck in the 80s hair metal LA sleaze yuck.
