Typical Gathering song....spacey, eclectic, groove-oriented and musical. In other words.....Great!....just like everything they do. Absolutely love the vocalist....she moves each song forward with just the right amount of projection and emotion... a real talent!
Magic sounds and Silje's voice is amazing.
Szerintem is. Én már kezdetektől hallgatom az együttest. Hihetetlen, hogy a csodálatos Anneke után Silje hozza azt a minőséget, és még rá is tesz egy lapáttal. Kitűnő választás volt 2007-ben.
So reminiscent of Garbage's debut album... I love this. Sounds very dark and cinematic. Almost James Bond-y. Almost Björk-y too.
Oh my! I was thinking who it sounded like and I read your comment. Yes, it reminds me of old Garbage Shirley Manson's voice. But Bjork came to my mind at first! and the first thing to my mind was it sounds kina like a James Bond Soundtrack!🙌🤘👌

Mate, you have forgotten late 90's The Gathering. Dark electronic atmosphere, in the trip-hop era. Loved it. If you mention a direct influence I would say Tool, Massive Attack and Tricky. But this is 100% late Anneke era. I totally loved this song and darkness.
The subtle keyboard really sets the mood.

Wow, I really love this, amazing as always, the gathering has always been my favorite band of all time, and I'm a true metal head,i still love slayer old Metallica, Amon amarth, and many more, but the gathering are still my favorite. I've always thought when they lost the grouling vocals from there first few CDs that created something special and unique, that would make them one of the words biggest bands, don't get me wrong i loved there frist few albums to with the deep male vocals but when they changed their sound and vocals to females they found something that was truly unique and amazing that many bands only wish they had your talent and fearlessness to follow there own unique path. Everyone should find there amazing CDs and listen to these leagendary works of absolute bririant music, and also there live DVDs especially a noise server , I only hope that someday they get the reconition they deserve as one of the greatest bands that ever existed, I thank you for all your albums that I have listened to for thousands of hours and how they have touched my mind and heart with there amazing songs and talent ... God where have I been for the last 2 years. The Gathering have returned to the peak of their powers & this song needs to be added to the latest album of Beautiful Distortion but this song for me is the peak with its Middle Eastern haunting refrain & bubbling electronics. A wonderful sonic gift & a million stars

Magnificent song! Heavy influences from Muse, Caro Emerald, The Bangles... Silje is stunning, but credit to the Rutten brothers. If the album contains more songs like this and In Colour then this will be there finest work to date.
