Finally finally finally a cookie that doesn't look like cake ✨
Thank you for this recipe it's going into my recipies collection for the only recipe for thin crispy chocolate chip cookies ❤️
Hi 👋 if I want to make this a chocolate cookie then how much cocoa powder should I add? Any other alterations in the recipe? Can you please please please do a video for crispy thin chocolate cookies?
True
It's because they're supposed to be that way. Thick, soft, and dense. I'd consider these to be biscuits :)
(but they look delicious anyways so it doesn't really matter)
A Cookie should be soft and dense on the inside and crispy on the outside, I’d say these are crackers or biscuits
Okay so i wanted to share something..
Based on my past experiences i just knew that the amount of sugar used in this recipe would be too much for me.. and that ratio of brown sugar would make my cookies soft (maybe because i live in such a humid country) which i DESPISE so i tweaked the sugar amount a bit to:
125g of white sugar
40g of brown sugar
AND IT TURNED OUT SO GOOD!!! So crispy yet the sweetness is bearable. makes me less guilty eating these Ahahah
Interesting!
@@ddd0053 i think i used a 1/2 tsp, cant remember much sorry
Thank you for this
Thanks for the update!
How about the salt? should i reduce it by how much?
-125gr sugar
-45gr brown sugar
-210gr butter
-1egg
-vanilla
-210gr all purpous flour
-3gr baking soda
That was great! I have never done a very good crunchy chocolate chip cookie recipe until I found this video. Thank you to the owners of this video!!
I've been looking for someone to post a video about crunchy cookie. Well done i will use this recipe for sure. Thank you so much.
This, is a properly prepared cookie. The final product boasts an exquisite execution of precise measurements, blending, temperature and time.
And I'm craving for thin crispy cookies now 😍
I really like your recipe, just tried today after trying many other ways. Thank you very much for solving my dream on this extra crispy cookie (I did add some nuts, unsweeten coconut flake (came out gorgeous), I think I should make this every week 👍
Love the video and editing. You deserve more views! Im going to try this. I love crispy cookies!
Thank you so much!
This was a really good recipe!! I have tried two chocolate chip cookies recipe already but those were too soft for my family's liking. The ones I bake weren't really thin like yours but it sure was crispy. I also followed other suggestions to lessen the sugar. Mine actually needed more time in the oven in order for it to have the burnt edges. I actually thought it wouldn't be crispy since it puffed up when it was still in the oven but when it cooled it down it was all great. Thank you for such a nice recipe. This video deserves more views!
Thank you
Love the music!
Okay just tried this! Omg it's soooo good. It's cwispy and tastyyy and yummmmmm. I tweaked it by the recommendation by adding 125g white and 45g sugar. It's delicious. Although I reduced vanilla and add salt. It's awesome. Thanks
You had my attention at the sound of the crisp😃👍🏼
Great crisp...❤
Ooh yeah it's really crunchy and yummy 🤩😍😘😋😋😋😋
Crunchy and kosher..... HalleluYAH!!!! What a gem! Tudah Rama 🙌😃

I’ve tried this before it turned very well and today I’m doing it again🥰
Wonderful!
Thankyou so much

Thank you!
Finally found a good crispy cookie recipe!
Glad you liked it!!
@@Roshel-Patisserie thank you so much for the recipe 😢
Thank you!!
The cookies were crispy and so yum 😋.
I added a couple teaspoons of milk as the dough was too dry... Also added nuts to it. Great recipe!
Great job!
I think I've found my perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe! The only difference is that i would make them small, about 5-6g per dough ball
Yas I love hard cookies more than soft ❤
Finally! I've been trying recipes wich gives puffy cookies and always hated that cakey feel... i did your recipe with some almond flour instead of regular flour and it turned out great! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!!
I just did this recipe and it is absolutely lush nice and crunchy and thin I luv it!! ❤
Glad you liked it!!
Master :)
This is seriusly the best recipe I have ever tried.... Soo good !!!
Glad you liked it!!
Yes! Crunchy cookies.
Glad you liked it!!
These look delicious! I make mine a little chewy. New sub!😀
Thank you
How do you make it chewy? Can you share your recipe?
These were so delectable🤤. I would definitely recommend this recipe. The cookies were a bit too sweet for me but overall they were amazing. Don't worry if you don't have a stand mixer with a paddle attachment. You can use a hand mixer with a whisk attachment which works the same, because that's what I used. Loved it! Worth a try. Tasted just like the cookies of Cookie Man. 🍫🍪
Will they taste good if you infused them with thc or shrooms?
The best recipe in RUclips !!!!
Wow, thank you!
Im so gonna try this, will share the outcome soon
When?🥺
did you bake them?
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Wohhhhh... congratulations to you sir for this video uploaded
So nice of you
One of the best cookies I baked. I always prefer crunchy cookies compared to the soft ones.
As many have mentioned I too reduced the quantity of sugar and baked at 180 for 15 minutes.
Looks delicious. I definitely prefer the thin, crispy all the way through yet melt in your mouth buttery sweet chocolate chip cookies that aren’t chewy or cakey at all, and this looks perfect! Just wondering though, should I wait until the cookies are fully at room temp before taking them off the parchment paper/baking sheet? I figured doing it too early will probably break the cookies as they aren’t set up and fully hard and crispy yet, but I was hoping I don’t have to wait 2-3 hours for the baking sheets to be available again to get the next batches in the oven.....
It is no problem to remove them from the baking pan after 4 to 5 minutes gently .
Chef, did you use a Combi oven or Fan assisted oven ? Mine didn't brown enough, with 15 minutes...so I kept cooking till they were a little more than blond.
However after cooling the cookies....oh la la ! Crispy and so delicious!
And following @Ash Burn's advice I too reduced the brown sugar and added sea salt !
I use a simple home oven, every baking oven a little different, for baking one minute or more, need to put attention
😍😍👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hey.... Found the exact video I wanted... But can you please tell me the measurements in cups and tbsp... Also for how long am I supposed to mix the dough?
Hi 👋 if I want to make this a chocolate cookie then how much cocoa powder should I add? Any other alterations in the recipe? Can you please please please do a video for crispy thin chocolate cookies?
Can I save it in the refrigerator for a week?
Bake this last week, and it is super crunchy like what I wish for. The sugar I use is based on the suggested sugar reduction below with an additional 5g reduction for each (this is just my own preference). As for my oven timing, it took like 25mins to be brown with the same heat plus fan. I think i use the same size ice cream scoop, but it doesn't turn out a perfect shape and flat as Kosher Chef and my one is with a little puffy. Overall, the cookies are so yummy, and most importantly is the crunchinessssss. Thank you chef for sharing and my daughter love it so much
👍 you're welcome
Made this today.. & they turned out superyumm!! Can u tell me the proportions if i want to make this in half??
Divide the recipe into half
@@Roshel-Patisserie sure!! Will try it again..
Finally 🥺
I'll consider them biscuits instead of cookies since it's crispy, it's a good recipe! Ty
Sugar 150g
Brown sugar 100g
Butter 210g
Egg 1
Vanilla 8g
All purpose flour 210g
Salt 5g
Baking soda 3g
Chocolate chunks 150g
You might need 250g flour
Does anyone know what I can use instead of all purpose flour? It's hard to find it here
This is the only way cookies should be
would this work with the same proportions if i replaced the chocolate chips with nutella spread?
You can't replace chocolate chips with Nutella spread 🍪
What can I replace eggs with for vegetarian recipe ??
Substitute for eggs?
I tried the recipe and it was very yummy.
I love crispy cookies!!!❤
Ingredients:
Brown sugar 100g
Granulated Sugar 150g
Butter 210g
Vanilla Extract 8g
Egg (1) 50g
Salt 5g
Baking soda 3g
All purpose flour 210g
Chocolate chips 150g
165°C 13-15min
Personally I add extra chocolate chips on top to make it looks better.
How much sugar i can reduce in this recipe and it still thin and crispy.
Hello, I was just curious, can I leave the cookies in the fridge for a few hours? I'm not sure if that would affect the thickness of the cookies after baking
Make sure cookies cool completely before storing. Store them at room temperature in an air-tight container, like Tupperware. Store different flavors separately. Over time, strongly flavored cookies like molasses or mint will seep into other cookies, so if possible store each flavor in its own container.

Welcome!!
This is an excellent Crispy Chocolate Chip cookie...better and crispier than Tate's Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe from the Tate's Bakery Cookbook. I did have to cook it longer than the 13-15 minutes though. If you are looking for a CRISPY Chocolate Chip Cookie....look no further....this is it.
Thanks a lot 😊
Hello, would it matter if the egg is in room temperature or cold egg?
room temperature it's better
Can I reduce the sugar but the texture stay the same?
Hi, can I use white sugar instead of brown sugar?
Try
Tried these cookies.. baked them in OTG wd convention fan at 170⁰ for 35mins with both upper and bottom elements on . It turned brown and crispy from the edges and after its totally cooled down, it becomes bit soggy later. Please advise what to do bout this being soggy
In my video I said to use 160 Celsius for a maximum of 15 minutes. Is there any other step you changed that might result in the sogginess?
@@Roshel-Patisserie i changed nothing in the process. I did try baking them at 160⁰ too, it still turns soggy after a while. I stored them in airtight container . The crisp of the cookies vanishes n becomes soggy..plz suggest what to do to keep the crisp
@@vatsalap1 If it's after a while its just a normal occurrence from the humidity in the air and there's not much to do.
Can i use soft brown sugar for this recipe
Yes
Is it okay if i use wheat flour?
YES
If the cookies is a bit puffy, should I press down the scooped dough before baking?
Yes
@@Roshel-Patisserie thank you chef for answering
Can i use full of brown sugar?
brown sugar would make the cookies soft
The recipe is great. I never understood why so many people want soft and chewy cookies. I really could have done without the awful music though.
Can i mix some dark cocoa powder?
How much i need to use?
If you want, you can try
@@Roshel-Patisserie flour need to less or same?
Can I freeze unused dough?
Yes
Can u pls write the ingredients
Lmao idk what I did wrong but I probably should stop trying to bake ✌🏼😅
Someone tell me the quantities in like 1 teaspoon, 1 cup? Kinda like that plsss. 😅😢😊❤
can i reduce the sugar?
Yes
How do I store my cookies so that it remains crispy?
Cool the cookies completely: Let your cookies cool down completely to room temperature before storing them. This will help prevent condensation from forming, which can make the cookies soft and chewy.
Store in an airtight container: Place the cookies in an airtight container, such as a plastic container or a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. This will help prevent moisture and air from getting in and making the cookies soft.
Add a moisture absorber: You can add a moisture absorber, such as a silica gel packet or a piece of dry bread, to the container with the cookies. This will help absorb any excess moisture and keep the cookies crispy.
Store at room temperature: Store the container with the cookies at room temperature, in a cool and dry place. Avoid storing the cookies in the fridge, as the moisture in the fridge can make them soft and soggy.
By following these steps, your cookies should stay crispy for several days or even up to a week, depending on the type of cookie and the storage conditions.
Substitute for egg in this recipe?
Try
Sometimes I get it thin and sometimes it didn’t become that thin. How come ?
I tried it but it wasn't crispy it became the regular ones. But I had no special spoon so I used some other spoon might be wrong amount and if that does impact it I am sorry.
measurements?
Hello, could you let me know the diameter or size of your scoop?
Weight of each cookie 20 grams
why is my dough mushy?
Egg substitute
Can anyone tell me how the cookies get flatten
keep them in room temperature before baking, and also check your oven make sure the temperature is correct.
Substitute for brown sugar ???
you can use regular sugar
Hi my cookies did not go flat 😐
Good video but the music sucks
Too fast the ingredients
It would be very helpful if you'd mount your camera on a stand and give us an angle such that we can see the inside of the mixer...it helps to be able to see the dough texture as it's being made so we are able to follow the recipe correctly.
just took them out the oven now and wth, it was so crumbly. 50% of the cookie literally crumbled off 😕 what happened
Did you try picking them straight out of the oven? They need to cool off completely.
Biscuits are too dry, cookies are too cakey. These buttery crispies are best, everyone else is wrong.
Am I blind or is there a recipe to print? I looked everywhere...It kind of reminds me of a Tates Bakery chocolate chip cookie.
There is a recipe on the left side of the video
Is the butter salted or unsalted and is it almost 2 sticks of butter??@@Roshel-Patisserie
@@mstraction unsalted
ok thank you...i'll let you know how it turns out.@@Roshel-Patisserie
I tried it. Did everything same but it became chewy instead of crispy 😭😭😭 Please help
Edit: I saw my cookies change colour and I thought they were done but then they turned soft. I put the next batch for exactly 13 minutes and they turned out perfectly 👍❤️ also they make lots of cookies so I just froze the cookie dough and use as an when needed. My experience- they became tastier the Longer I kept the dough frozen. I already made 3 batches. Have enough dough for one more ❤️
Brown sugar 100gr
White sugar 150gr
Butter 210gr
Flour 210gr
Salt
Vanila
Egg 1pcs
Baking soda 3gr
Choco chips 150gr
What's with this horrible music.
Thank you 👍
