I cannot remember the last time someone beat Oregon by 20 in Autzen. The only one that comes to mind is against the Huskies in the 4-8 year. It just doesn't happen. You're lucky if you can win here. @@kyletucker3811 yup I've only seen one loss since 1998 or 99 when my first game was Asu vs Oregon and akili smith we had the Pepsi plbollons that sounds like metal clapping we won by ,40 ish and akili threw for 400 ish I think it was and I witnessed over 100 games at AutoZone and that one loss Qb as when we were up by 12 and Bo Nix was running for basically the score to go up by almost 20 and he gets injured and then our backup b was awful giving them great field position in fourth quickly and often to lose by 3

Lately it was Washington and before that Utah. Lanning has to get that monkey off his back so Oregon can win the big games. Oregon is now his team and virtually 100% his recruits. If he can find a QB as good as Nix and beef up the defense, Oregon has a legitimate shot at winning it all.

Top kids get hidden on the West Coast if they are not in LA or the Bay Area, I went to a super power HS on the West Coast, many state titles, I think in a decade we had one 5 star and one 4 star, both because they were just huge and athletic and could not be ignored, but despite the rest being 3 star types we had a parade of SEC schools coming to look at these 3 stars because of great scouting they knew if they were in LA or SEC country they would be 4 and 5 star kids.
Yeah I played 3 years high school football in oregon and wasn't looked at or even got a letter from any colleges, my senior year I moved to florida and played linebacker, within 6 games I had 4 college letters and got ranked 12th best linebacker in the state and was all state, something about oregon football you just don't looked at really, idk why?
