some other details:
the metrics for obsidian and all other gems besides ruby and topaz were done mathematically as i forgot to account for them at the beginning. the obsidian i conducted an hourly test for, and the other gems i simply looked at how many kills I had and did some multiplication.
i have 1,272 scatha kills because i wanted to wait to be able to use my magic find equipment (12k rep and t5 kuudra comp) before doing the 1k kills, so i just did some on the side before getting 12k rep. so, i started officially going for 1k and 272 (1k scathas is 74th on the leaderboard btw)
4:23 has an error with the red boundary boxes because davininci didn't give me an accurate representation of where it would be when rendered and i can't be bothered to fix it
my rng was so bad because i had nearly the same magic find as tiggyluck, who average 1/97 over the course of 4k scathas, and i averaged 1/107 in 1k. i also got 7 rares, 2 epics, and 0 legendaries which really sucks because for every two rares you should have one epic, and for every 6 rares you should have one legendary. so i got kinda scared in the rarities department as well.

I agree with you that using a racing helmet is excessive. Its completely unnecessary because of ping but it is useful for getting to magma fields from nucleus.

Superior dragon armor should be better for magic find since it boosts both magic find and pet luck by 5% meaning that u need over 400 of both combined to outpace sorrow

As a person with 500-600 ping being I'm new Zealand this helps alot
when you try to align your crosshair you can just make your sens to 100% and it wont do -90.02 or smth :) make sure that you don't move your crosshair before tho cus then its already on a weird thing

what should level should my hotm perks be for ruby mining with 4m/4m
would it have been a good choice to level up lvl1 bal pets and resell them since you're gaining so much xp through its just a combat pet you get the made of lava perk which removes the annoying burning
But I don't get the full 15% buff (I think) and I couldn't use qc. The topaz and coal money will just be better
Plus I never level pets if it subtracts from coll/cole weight gains in any way, hence why I've never leveled a gdrag

im still shocked that i dropped my epic after 70 scatha kills, it did still take about 12 hours of grinding cause i didnt have any gear and also only had 120 magic find. got the pet tho

And if you have high enough magic find it can boost more than sorrow(assuming the full set bonus works on magic find)
That takes an unreal amount of magic find without armor. I forgot the exact numbers but it's completely unachievable

Assuming you can get 200 magic find it will give you the same amount as sorrow, and it will give pet luck increasing the chance of legendary, even if you loose a tiny bit of magic find, it might be worth it

I've been farming scatha a lot , i'm top 181 in worm bestiary (2500worms ,708 scathas) , my setup is worst than you tho , i get like 105pl 207 magic find , i got 3 rares 2 epics , now i'm at 370 scathas without kills , so you can consider yourself lucky . Also fire aspect / ferocity doesn't affect magic find but looting , that's why i don't have fire aspect of my daedalus axe

Some more insight on the scatha stuff, breaking additional blocks at head height actually impacts being able to spawn a scatha a lot more than you think...
First lets go over what actually spawns scatha... all blocks around your head can spawn scatha if XY... That means if you had a block in your feet you could break it to spawn a scatha... Than its important to have at least 1 block BEHIND YOUR FEET (in the floor obv) to spawn a scatha, thats X... And you need at least 1 blocks to the left or right forward/backward for a scatha spawn check (at feet height) (orientated forward and backwards so a total of 4 blocks around you the player if you are in the center) I have recreated the Scatha Plugin on my own private server to learn about it as a small challenge... This is a literal representation of it. You are welcome...
P.S. there are a lot of scatha checks given by the system... But actually its just a single check for a bigger number every few blocks and than a roll if you can get a scatha or not... So you could hypothetically spawn a f*ckton of scathas at once if you are unreasonably lucky

Well sorry to say it but magic find is for the drop itself for dropping a rarity I think that is based of pet luck but 1000 scathe jeez I would have broken my monitor by then keep up the insane videos
