It’s defo worth a try. Burgers were decent and you can’t argue with the price. When do you travel to Orlando?

Wendy's and BK seem to switch spots now & then. I subscribed... I'll stick it out at LEAST to 1K whether or not I'm thrilled w/ the content. (A bit past 1k so you keep that milestone). Wendys was founded near here, where I live (30 miles/48 Km(?ish) away. I remember visiting the very 1st Wendy's Restaurant when I was a kid, in Columbus, OH. Glad everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Hello, the reason why Wendy's has square beef patties is because they use to advertise that they DON'T CUT CORNERS.

Wow! I quite like that. It’s clever. I appreciate the info. Thanks for watching and subscribing. Are you based in the US?

Wendy’s is the one who intended to introduce surge pricing at their locations during peak hours, like Uber and Lyft do. But there must have been a huge outcry, as it’s now saying it never intended to do it, and it’s all a misunderstanding. Sure! Doubt other chains will follow thru, as several said they were going to try it. That location was so quiet. That was also a super cheap meal for a family of five. The square patties are a marketing ploy to set it apart from the other chains. The Frosty is a cross between a milkshake and a cup of ice cream. I live in a city with a population of 800,000 people. We have only one Wendy’s, and it is in a very bad part of town. Come to think of it, I haven’t seen a Wendy’s anywhere in various parts of the US for quite a number of years.

Thanks for watching and subscribing. I’d read something about the surge pricing actually. It would have been a disaster. I’m not surprised they did a u- turn. Are there any other restaurant chains you’d recommend?

@@thekennafamilyadventures5 That’s hard to say, as the chains are mostly regional and I’m on the west coast, so I don’t know all that Florida has to offer. Chick-fil-a is very popular in the states where it has locations. I know Florida has them. I see Popeyes has opened in the UK, has become so popular that local chicken places have had to shut down. (On the west coast, In-N-Out has a cult like following with both locals and tourists. I don’t get the hype.) Applebee’s, Olive Garden and Chili’s, all national chains, are popular with locals and foreigners, and less expensive than Cheesecake Factory. But they also can be hit or miss depending on location. I’ve seen other restaurants/chains mentioned in other ‘British do Orlando’ vlogs, but I’m not familiar with them, as they are regional, other than Panda Express, a chain for Chinese, which is very popular with Brits, particularly the orange chicken. Waffle House is very popular in the South, especially after the bars close. It’s an institution for them. It’s like iHop and Denny’s, but supposedly a lot cheaper, and specializes in Southern comfort food: fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, etc, along with your typical breakfast, lunch, and dinner staples. The food and cleanliness can vary by location. But, Southerners say if you can detect it not being clean, then you aren’t drunk enough. I think the reason they appear a bit run down is that they have high foot traffic, always seem busy and are open 24/7. All the Southerners I work with, or come in contact with while traveling in the South, swear by it. The larger Publix locations have really good delis. Unfortunately Publix is in only 7 states in the Florida area. I’ve yet to figure out why McDonald’s is so popular with Brits.

Wow! There really is so much choice. We did Panda Express (city walk), Popeyes, Chilli’s and Steak & Shake on this trip. The good thing about having so many options is that there’s always something that suits the time you have and the budget. We’re editing the other restaurant reviews at the minute so they’ll be on the channel soon.

Chers! Hope others find them useful. I tried Chick-fil-a on a recent trip to West Virginia. Loved it. We were meant to go there this night but it was closed so we ended up in Wendy’s. Decent burgers for a great price. You ever tried it?

Thanks for watching and subscribing. Unfortunately we don’t have any of those in NI. It makes it fun when we go on holiday to try new places. What’s your “must try” restaurant chain in the US?
