Thank you so much Catherine! We have more restaurant reviews going up on the channel weekly from next week. I bet you are all so excited about the holiday in June. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Enjoy the rest of the Florida videos!
@@thekennafamilyadventures5 yeah best thing on menu, gravy is so good with side of pancakes 🥞 you need to hit up 4 Rivers for some really good BBQ if you like that sort of thing
We did the same location last vacation and previously and felt it was hit and miss depending on what you order, it was nice and the service was very pleasant, but left feeling it wasn’t a large amount of food and wasn’t a large amount of value either, you probably get more value if you drink more than you eat…. We switched to dunkin donuts as we felt $6-8 we could grab a bite and go with more ease and it suited our needs more than the elongated breakfast sit down experience, lovely vid as usual though guys… informative and a clear example of what to expect, 👍🇺🇸🏴
Cheers Wes. Appreciate that. I suppose there’s many reasons why it may have been slightly off that day- short- staffed maybe? We’d go back though and try again. Lots of other breakfast places to try though - Denny’s and Bob Evans are in the list for next trip! Which do you prefer?
@@thekennafamilyadventures5 tbh guys, we tend to do the rides a lot, and we stay away from Disney now the kids are 17&12 and the last few trips have been universal & seaworld parks etc,so a light bite is our preference in the mornings over there… the hotels we have stayed in tend to offer nice options to split, Hilton, Rosen plaza, cabanabay, holiday inns, next time Rosen centre & surfside, we try and stock the room with waters, fruit, cereal and patisseries, we snack a lot rather than cram a big meal, it’s a safer option lol🤢, but hotel deli’s, today cafe, McDonald’s or Dunkin, and Starbucks give us that breakfast option that we can all find to enjoy, we try to go light all day then enjoy a family meal in the evenings, and we have spent at both sides of the scale over there, from Applebee’s to destino tower Colorado Springs, so we like the kind of places that offer your value and decent quality, cheddars caught us by surprise last time, very decent, olive garden, vivo, coopers hawk, saltgrass, millers. Disney springs we adore, wine bar George, morimoto street food, splittsvile have good food surprisingly, springs can get addictive but expensive. Also we always try to eat at some restaurants at the hotels on occasions when they have deals.. but please continue to show the vids, we loved the burger location and have penned it in for next time thankyou…👌🙏🏽🇺🇸🏴
Cheers Wes! We are similar in that we aim for value most of the time. Try to mix up quick service and table service restaurants. We are trying Surfside at Universal next time. Good space and great location etc. So glad you are enjoying the videos. Plenty more to come!
Thanks for watching Fred. Corny yes but with kids the chic chip pancakes are always going to win. Think we might try Denny’s when we are back in August. What’s your thoughts on Denny’s?
@@thekennafamilyadventures5 I havent been to Denny's in over 15 years but I remember their omelettes were good --- be sure to never eat at Waffle House --- really cheapo food
That avocado on toast was so pathetic looking. IHOP, Denny’s, and all the other chains are very hit-and-miss by location in terms of service, quality of food, cleanliness, etc. If you find a location you like, stick to it.
Always loved IHOP in the past, haven't been in a few years. Happy you enjoyed your visit!
If you go back, I’d avoid the avocado and tomato on toast!
@@thekennafamilyadventures5 Hahahaha! Noted!
Very much enjoying your videos finding them good please keep them coming as me, my husband and 3 children are off to Florida in June ❤

Country fried steak breakfast is the go to anytime of the day, always great service there!!
Cheers Mick. Might give that a try next time.

Bob Evans and also cracker barrel are well worth a try
Cheers Tony. We’d go back and give it another try. Definitely want to try Bob Evans on another trip. Heard good things!
Deffo the avocado toast looked nothing like on the menu..everything else looks great..enjoy the rest of your vacation 😊
Thanks Graham. Yeah, not what we were expecting. We’ve already said we’d go back and give it another go. Maybe we were just unlucky that day!

Love iHop!
Cheers Ultan. I loved mine but Jem’s was brutal 😂
Enjoy
Thank you!
Ihop can be hit and miss, we have had great food, but not always, we go to the ones in California.
Cheers Andy. We’ll give it another go!
I'm American but I only eat at IHOP about three times a year --- the corny menu items like chocolate chip pancakes make me roll my eyes LOL

What is better ? Denny’s or IHOP?
@@Bekind817 Each person has their own personal preference.
Hey Billy, it really wasn’t the best. Maybe we were just unlucky. We’d go back and give it another chance.
We’ve never tried Denny’s but hope to on next trip!
