@@mtunayucer Yup, it’s one GPU core less than in the A17 Pro from the iPhone 15 Pro (Max). They already did it in the iPad Mini 6th Gen where the A15 Bionic also had a GPU core less than the one in the iPhone 13 Pro (Max).
@@Erdadler As far as I remember, previous iPad mini had the full A15 Bionic silicon, with 5 GPU Cores. Binned A15 on regular iPhone 13 and iPhone SE 2022 have 4 core GPU.

But the current iPad Air has a worse M2 chip inside…not the real one of the iPad Pro 2022. Even with maxed out and quite expensive 1TB of storage the M2 there has only 9 GPU cores (Apple claimed otherwise on the release date and „corrected“ it later.) and measly 8GB of RAM. I‘m really not a fan of putting inferior/half broken chips in expensive devices. For that price we deserve the best quality…even if we don’t use the full potential.
My only wish is rotation cannot be set - when reclining or lying down (and working with patients/clients with limited/unstable movements) the rotation auto goes from portrait to landscape constantly and is frustrating. The original iPad I remember I could set the rotation to not have it rotate. Tim needs to talk to ME! and put this back in the iPad. Also, I should be able to turn on or off the auto shaping when pausing my pencil when taking notes - my irregular line should remain so and not go to a straighten line when I don't want it to (I'm note taking a resting my pen! - I don't need an auto shape change!).
The iPad mini 6 is the only Apple device I have that I like. I am very disappointed with the mini 7. At this point the screens must be the protagonists of a device. I wanted OLED technology, less frames, more brightness and better camera. Apple missed a big opportunity.
Yes ! Bought a burnt orange one from eBay - brand new and box fresh from reliable vendor I have used before. Paid 25.00. Look there first before the vendors wise up and increase the price!
Use the mini as a mini form tablet. And you’ll enjoy it, if not you’ll sell it after few months and get the air/ pro. Which is tiring after an hour to hold on both hands. Then you’ll regret it selling the mini and buying it back. Yes it’s me, mini best tablet for normal Netflix RUclips notes music. If you want future proofing just get pro 11inch, air is a waste of money time. I’m saying from my own experience
It took them 2 years to just fix the jelly scroll… and add an old chip in it… obviously there’s not much care for the mini unfortunately but I absolutely love my mini… looks like I’m going up to a iPad Pro

Yes. 2 generation newer chip, double the RAM, double the base storage, and I think a camera upgrade? I don't think that you had realistic expectations if you thought that the Mini was going to get all these features that are exclusive to the Pro line before even the Air gets them.
