One of the many things I love about Alice Cooper shows is that he always plays at least one song that makes me go, "Holy crap! I can't believe he's playing THAT song! I would NEVER have expected him to play that in a million years!" I wish other rock bands would do the same, instead of doing the same set list year after year. I know you have to play the hits for the people who are only casual fans, but tossing in even just one deep track can make the die-hard fans so happy.
I've noticed that! I've seen every tour since I was about 16, and he ALWAYS works in the most obscure songs for the die hards. It really is appreciated as a fan, and I'm always excited to see what he'll dust off next.
Yes, Alice always does his well known songs but also always throws in a treat for his die hards too,so cool of him...And as someone else mentioned,Kiss almost never do ,except when they play their cruise ships.lol
I am so glad that Alice still has some of these great songs in circulation. The albums from his "lost years" of 1980-83 (or so) -- Flush the Fashion, Special Forces, Zipper Catches Skin, *maybe* DaDa -- are so interesting and full of tight, rocking, clever, humorous, well-crafted songs. I still revisit them. It's really a great period, musically, in a lot of ways.
I think that after the riot in Toronto that radio stations were scared to play his music. This on top of the fact that his style of shock rock never fit the top 40 that stations were playing.
@Tank MacNamara Alice Cooper didn't show up for a concert in Toronto in 1980 and the crowd that were in attendance started wrecking and throwing stuff.
Just realising now that Tobias Forge's (of Ghost) latest Papa Emeritus mask/visage is inspired by Alice Cooper's makeup. This song is one of Alice's best as well, love it!
I love how he can go from really dark, heavy metal style lyrics, to comedy and back again. Really underrated lyricist.
One of his best songs ever!
To me all his songs are best. Pain has a sweet melody like his other song "unfinished sweet"

unlike KISS who play the same setlist for last 15 years

Great song and agreed! It is always great when an artist adds a rare song that only the real fans know.

Balada pre moje uši a Nita tomu ešte dodala super gitaru…Paráda….
Ein sehr tolles Lied 👍
Такое впечатление что все ходят на концерты Купера только чтобы смотреть на эту женщину с гитарой
У него в гитаристках была ещё и Орианти - сногсшибательная.
Missing the keyboards
Way too much posing. 😅
Nita she never looks natural, always like a try hard with all the rock moves, she goes way overboard
