I would imagine that Mr Wood is someone you would love to have on your team. And HATE playing against. Top man

Great player and a very nice unassuming man off the pitch.

A throw back to the British Empire - when together they were unbeatable. However, Ireland is pretty competitive on their own now - with a few imports from the ex-Empire (Commonwealth). That drop goal still hurts. From another corner of the old Empire.

Ireland should pull out of the Lions. Its a British team.

Am not sure many of the other nations would agree with you there
The Irish, like the other three nations, have contributed massively to the Lions

It’s the British and Irish Lions. It’s given some of the best moments in rugby. The one that comes to mind is Sean O Brian’s try...

A clue is in the name Andrew old son....and to be fair....the BRITISH AND IRISH lions would probably have had considerably less success over the years without our bog-trotting brethren from the emerald isle. Mine's a Guinness....and large Bushmills 10 year single malt.....Yeh feckun eedjut Yeh. ...
