Welcome to the Valley of the Kings. This exciting and fascinating historical site lets you be so close to history that we, as humans, never meant to disturb its peace. Let me know what you think in the comments. 🙏🏽🇪🇬 0:00 - Unpleasant Start; 06:01 - Tickets and Golf Car; 13:10 - Tomb Of Seti I (KV17); 25:41 - Tomb Of Tutankhamun (KV62); 29:54 - Tomb Of Rameses IX (KV 6); 31:24 - Tomb Of Rameses III (KV 11); 36:25 - Tomb Of Rameses IV (KV2); 41:36 - Temple of Hatshepsut; 47:57 - Back To Luxor.
Another Great vlog Davud. It is definitely expensive to visit The Valley of the Kings, but it’s so interesting to learn their history. You’ve made a good choice on what to visit there. Your bargaining skills and patience are commendable. Love from South Africa❤
i consider this part of your tour as the best Mr. Davud !! History’s best 😮❤ ( wish list for nxt yr hopefully ) luv to see the real thing than seeing them in documentaries & pictures . thank you so much for sharing , as you always say ; all the best stay safe ! 🤩🥰❤️
Great video especially since I'll never get to go thank you for taking us along I did get to see the tour of King tut in New Orleans years ago it was awesome!
Egypt is a rich country with a huge tourism. Suez Canal, Nile, refined petroleum, crude petroleum, petroleum gas, nitrogenous fertilizers and gold. Cotton, rice, wheat, corn, sugarcane, sugar beets, onions, tobacco, and beans are the main crops. Sadly the government is corrupted and greedy. Foreign elites shareholders prosper from the land leaving the citizens in a poor state.
Outstanding video that captures this experience far better than I have seen before. I was left with a much better comprehension of these tombs in terms of their scale and textures as well as the relationships of the parts. Seeing the ceilings in combination with the walls communicates color and design dynamics that are lost in face on still shots. I totally enjoyed this tour. And, I like Davud's personality a lot. He shows unfailing respect to all his hosts in all his videos. Kudos!
I’ve always wanted to go to Egypt 🇪🇬 I want to go even more now. Thank you so much I love Egypt and its beautiful artefacts and amazing tombs & history. Thank you so much Davud 🙏
Davud, you’re one of my favorites. Always happy to see a new video from you. You’re living my dreams. Thanks so much for every video you make and everything you share. All the love and respect from Florida, US.

I remember many years ago going to the Valley of the Kings. Our tour guide woke us up at 4 am and we were at the Valley at 5 am. Best time to go! No tourists at this time.
I'm just so glad & thankful that I was able to experienced the most unforgettable Cairo , Egypt & went to all the remarkable places like you . our travel was 17 yrs ago & it wasn't that more relaxedwith carriages, smooth pavements & streets & what's surprising is they made steps to climb the pyramids which i didn't like it that it became sooo comercialized to the tourists comfort. Thank you for this guided video tour. I'm sure being in person doesn't do justice and much better but your video is well done. I'd love to go there one day.
Thank you so much for the tour! My dream was to go to Egypt, even my son always said he'd help me get there. Unfortunately, i can no longer walk so i will depend on people like you to take me on the tours. Thank you! Karrie
Thank you Davud. I will never get to Egypt so your video was fantastic to see. I studied all of that in Art History. I really enjoy your videos, I feel I'm tagging along with you.
Very pleased I found this channel. Very insightful. A very honest and accurate depiction (of the VotK) for us lovers of ancient history and would be travellers to Egypt.
We always wanted to visit the Pyramids in Giza, and Valley of the Kings Luxor: The experience we had in the Marrakesh Morocco from tout or hassles from people who were shoving their way into buying stuff, sightseeing, shopping and restaurants etc. but all you wanted was to appreciate what those places offer you🤔… also to relax during your holiday! Egypt and Morocco should have to do something about it. I’m sure, we are one of the thousands of people who are dismayed by their actions. And avoiding these beautiful places to visit! 😢
This was a beautifully photographed video. Continue with your patience, the locals are suffering from high inflation and food prices. You are a kind soul. Yes lots of artifacts have been stolen. Go to London and Germany. Their museums are full of ancient Egyptian artifacta that they refuse to return. I guess they would be empty if they send them back. I hope you took a nile cruise down the river to Aswan!
Thanks for sharing, any/all video of the sites is welcome, there's a lot of us stuck at home that will never make it there, thanks for taking us along with you :)
I was lucky enough to visit here for my honeymoon in 2013. Its such a breathtakingly beautiful, serene place and you pick up the vibes when youre there. A lot has changed since we went, we werent allowed cameras or phones, photography was forbidden and I am so bummed I havent a record of my visit. Id love to go back one day as this holiday was so special but unfortunately Egypt has become so expensive to travel to and I somehow think that what you pay isnt transfered to the people who make your stay so memorable. The poverty we saw was heartbreaking. One night we walked along the nile from our boat to the market in Luxor, kids were begging and were even grateful to be given even pens and pencils for school which was so sad. Im hoping things have changed since our visit.
Magnificent 😊. No one on youtube i had everseen explained so nicely. I was not understanding which things were where by watching all vidoes. But your video explained me many things and cleared doubts about things locations and ticket prices etc. Thank you so much. And i would like to tell other people that all tourist place have the same problem, people near by wants to loot you. I don’t know why they want to create bad image. But thats how it is. 😊
This is the best video I have ever seen in my life because I extremely love Egypt. It's like reading a beautiful history book. Thank so much for your hard work . what a magnificent art work.but I have still one question in my mind. Is it right thing that we excavate and open their tombs😢🤔🤔🤔 You are right Davud. They are hunting ancient treasures.Anyhow extremely enjoyed your description and learnt a lot.🙏🇱🇰🇱🇰💐💐💐❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏 Love to visit but don't have that much money. You are very lucky to see these beautiful history in your own eyes❤❤❤❤

So many more secrets of Egypt left to discover. What a beautiful vast place. I don’t think people realise just how massive the surroundings are ❤
This is a wonderful video! I'm doing my Masters in Egyptology and would love to visit again now that I have a much better understanding of all of this stuff.
Yeah, the Valley of the Kings (and Queens) were chosen because they were hidden and only accessible through one pathway, enabling them to be better protected. Despite this, there were still tomb robberies during within the New Kingdom. I've translated the Tomb Robbery Papyrus, which details the 'trials' of several workmen accused of robbing from the royal tombs. Later on, tomb robbery was so bad that they moved many of the pharaohs from their tombs and placed them into a single cachet, this is where we found most of the pharaoh's mummies that are still on display.
The walls are covered in parts of several afterlife texts, such as the Book of the Dead, the Amduat, the Book of Gates, The Litany of Re, etc. Most of which detail the journey of the sun-god through the afterlife, on which the deceased is part of.
I don't believe that this tomb is the only one carved in raised relief (the 3D effect you mentioned at around 20:25) as most royal tombs were supposed to be like that. It's one way in which private tombs were distinguished from the royal tombs. I believe it's the most expensive because of how large it is, and the good state of preservation (as you and the guide mentioned)
For more information on the tomb of Seti I (and all of the other tombs) this website is an incredible source of information
