Craziest Things Found By Airport Security

- Let’s talk about flying. Specifically, going to the airport to get onto an airplane. Whether you want to admit it or not, it’s one of the worst things that happens to a person. Seriously, going to the airport sucks! You have to arrive early, go through all sorts of checks, and then hope that your plane departs on time. Which, as many of you likely experienced at the end of 2022, was not always a guarantee. But do have some sympathy for the TSA, aka the Transportation Security Administration. It’s their job to check you for illegal substances and it can be as big a pain for them as it is for you. Especially when they find something…interesting. Allow us to show you the 20 Craziest Things Found By Airport Security!

The demons who smuggle animals should be more severely dealt with than drug dealers. That shit breaks my heart. 😢
100%!
Me too. An animal is an animal. That is so cruel! 😡
Drugs kill humans.
Humans > Animals.
Wow!
Drugs are one thing, but LIVE ANIMALS?!
Thats horrible!
Leave the animals alone!😡
Why doesn’t our USA and our southern border have security this strict for people coming into our country?

@thomasthurman3412 EXACTLY!!!
I agree. I’ve never seen suitcases opened and checked. Also I didn’t have to declare anything at Los Angeles airport when I arrived from japan
My boyfriend set off the alarm going through security with MY carry on. I was distracted with my little dog and didn't notice what was going on until I was called over by a very angry boyfriend. Someone had given me a wine bottle carrier as a gift that I decided was the perfect size to carry my vibratory in. What I didn't realize was that there was a little corkscrew tucked away in a pocket and it set off the alarm. The security officer's face was bright red and I was summoned over to claim ownership of the vibrator and corkscrew. I will never forget the look on my boyfriend's face. 😂
Why you don't get married your boyfriend?. Is he not cheating with you? Please take care about your own life
Why would you need to travel with a vibrator when you have the real deal “your boyfriend”?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂AWESOME!!

Like I hear frequently from Sheriff Grady Judd “ya can’t make this stuff up folks!”
So true!
#2-the sister has a serious back porch!
The misplaced cat didn’t surprise me one bit. As the wife of a soldier who frequently got sent on short assignments for higher schooling, it was nothing for us to come in the room, see the opened suitcase on the bed and there was the cat, snuggled in a corner fast asleep. We started making last minute cat checks before he walked out the door! Thankfully I never had to go get the cat from the airport!
I love Sheriff Judd, he can sure put a story together!
And these are only the things that were actually found. I can't imagine the things they didn't.
I’m disabled and use my personal wheelchair in the airport. It takes forever to get through on a good day, but now I understand why. Since I have a hip replacement and a spinal cord stimulator, I also get a pat down after going through X-ray. I’m so used to it at this point that when we recently flew from Texas to California and they didn’t pat me down, I was worried about if they might have missed something on someone else. lol
You're right to worry! What if their lack of care. My late dad had a hip replacement and carried a card from the doctor identifying that and his pacemaker and a contact for questions. He could not go through the metal detector because the pacemaker would be damaged and may explode due to metal detecting sensors. He thought it was hilarious that they would try and make him go through the metal detector until he produced this official card/document. He had a sick sense of humour. I would out him every time. You should see if you can get one of those cards or documentation and save yourself some grief when travelling. If you like these stories, check out "border patrol" on RUclips. They have them from lots of countries and it's so interesting what people try and sneak through. Good luck in your travels 😁
@Barb. Does the spinal cord stimulator help you?
The guy from India with his gold really deserves the Darwin award, he could have made rings or bracelets out of his gold and simply worn it out of the country?
This is wrong information. This man is not from India.
The birds and the cat just get to me in many ways... ppl are coming up with new ways to do things and i am surprised what they do...
My biggest fear at the airport is buying food from their restaurants 😱😱

During 3 hrs back to Christchurch was feeling sick and nauseous. Just before the kanding tried to get to the toilet. The flight attandants said(it is a third one)). I vomited whole blo*ody lot. Then in NZ was assessed by medics.
H.pylori and other stomach bacteria - got poisoned twice.
Whoa. I am surprised at the ways people try to do stuff like this. Some people are nuts. How do they figure they'll get away with these things is beyond me. Do they figure they'll beat "the odds" that airport security will find out? I feel sorriest for the animals involved. Great video. So interesting! Thank you so much. I love this channel!
Well the TSA fails to detect practice weapons over 80% of the time. So the odds are in your favor.
They are not "just" turtles or lizards or song birds! These illegal heartless smugglers are cruel and care less about the stress and hell they put these poor helpless creatures through. Hateful
Agree. The animals are living creatures that were being made to suffer.
Just cross the border, no checks , no paperwork. And free gifts.
That's the truth
My sister in law was eating some snack crackers waiting to get into Canada, & didn't declare them at the border because she had fogotten she put the nearly empty bag back in her purse - cost them a 2 hour delay and about $250 in fines 😂 my brother was speechless he was so mad. We all thought it was hilarious when we found out. But she's so innocent and loveable and doesn't even mind the teasing, she's the Best sis I could imagine. ❤
An 8-year-old child in a suitcase. Unbelievable. Thankfully the child survived. What kind of father "doesn't know how" they are going to transport his child?
I can’t believe that the smugglers taking a chance to do the wrong…TSA, you did an awesome job….it would be worse if they didn’t get caught…what would happen on the plane…thank you for doing a respectful job👏👏👏👏👏👍👍
The difference between genius and stupidity is genius has its limits.Albert Einstein.
Years ago when the TSA first started I met a TSA agent that was inspecting rental car trunks. Upon talking to him, he told me that he was “ demoted”. The reason was this one flight attendant based in AZ always had seggs toys in her bag. So one day he decided to ask her for her number ! The rest is history!
I also once heard that a woman’s check-on bag was vibrating and making noises. When they searched it, they pulled out a large Hitachi Vibrator.. she supposedly sued over the embarrassing incident! 😊
Tip to travelers on the Big Island of Hawaii (or anywhere), do NOT under ANY circumstances wear CAMOUFLAGE print clothing in ANY form! TSA will take you ASIDE, search you, X-RAY you, and (possibly), cause you to MISS your PLANE! WHY you ask?? The Big Island is a HUGE illegal Marijuana growing area. The growers/dealers often wear CAMOUFLAGE (who knew)?🤷♀️This was all explained to me by the nice Officers at Hilo, Hawaii TSA.
appreciate the 411.I'll remember that.
Will never understand how people think that a raw chicken stuffed with a gun could be accepted by airport security. I am sad to see that many put animals in such bad situations to bring them to another country.
I use to travel a lot. Since 2005 i decided never to fly again unless it's private. People are insane!
Feel sorry for the animals. So many must die in transport!
That’s horrific about the animals!!!!🤬🤬
don't take a firearm as checked baggage. TSA is fascinated and wants it for themselves. It was a miracle I got my long gun at the end of the flight. The TSA approved case and lock was tampered with and I think it was just the filament tape wrapped around the case that saved the item from being pillaged en route.
I will never understand why people put food in their luggage. I think it's so gross. I am sure their destination will have food.
At 21:00, I believe the cat story. I have a Siamese that has to explore everything that's different. Open a box and leave it on the floor he'll try it for a bed. Same with luggage, oh boy what are all these pockets and zippers for? Let's have a nap! 😻😺🤞🙀🙈
People are monsters.
Those wheels of the wheelchair grew a lot from being on the chair to the actual photograph hahaha
It's what always happens when you take tires off the rims. Normally, they have inner tubes, not coke, inside them, but they always poof up that way.
Here in El Paso an X-RAY detected a small bundle inside a person. That smuggler then had to wait in a jail cell until he had to "take a shit". Then his goose was cooked!
Aren't cargo bays depressurized ? And FREEZING ?
That’s what I was thinking 💭
Min 13:30. Those lizards were Shingle Back skinks. Illegal to take out of Australia. Very expensive.
I worked at Love Field Airport here in Dallas, Texas for a while, before TSA, and we found all kinds of things in people's luggage. Some of those things also got people arrested, because they were illegal to carry on planes, and dangerous.

They scan all your luggage. Before it goes on the plane and. Most countries. When you get off they know what you have if it’s organic or metal etc so you get caught because they know what you have in your suitcases ! I have travelled a lot and see it !

Thanks for the clarification: I was picturing a 12-bore.
On a trip to Hawaii, my dad thought it would be a great idea to bring home the pineapple he got from one the 'harvest your own pineapple' tourist spots. Agriculture inspector could care less about my dad's cutlery collection as they were part of the checked baggage, but no way on the fruit. Needless to say, we stepped out of the line and enjoyed the pineapple. Another reason to allow sufficient time at the airport.
I was part of a US Navy patrol plane (P3Orion) coming back from Japan. We had some Japanese watermelon aboard and had it for desert because we knew US Customs would take any produce we bought in Japan. We could take it out but not bring it in.
That’s really weird about not being able to bring a fresh pineapple from Hawaii back to the mainland! My hubby and I have done it 3 times in the past 5 years with not so much as a batted eyelash. And yes, it was fresh picked from a field as part of a tour.
Hahahahahahahaha It was better to eat it before boarding 😂😂😂😂😂
There was a time that the airplane staff would not let me bring a beer unopened with me and custom said no as well, I told them that I suffered from fear of flying and high altitude but still they said no, what I did I drank it all with one more I had hidden and that turned me into sleep and drunk that before I knew it I was already back in my country, I didn't need to fly on the airplane, I flew on myself but this was only an awesome dream. Thank you for appreciating my dream....
😅😅😅😅🙈
It is shocking. But honestly, leads me to wonder how desperate some of these people must be... That's more upsetting to me. Imagine being so hard pressed, you'd do anything. & then those precious animals, so perfectly innocent. Being treated with no love or even a modicum of respect. & the people that some are willing to transport the same way?!! I'm speechless...
I was traveling from NC to Chicago. I had a small container of peanut butter for my dog and six loaves of apple bread. I was aloud to bring bread but not fresh made peanut butter that I prefer over bread. I turned around and donated to Sheriffs office and some bread. Your comment about wheelchairs is completely incorrect.
It takes me about 10 times longer going through security now in a wheelchair then it did back when I could walk. They swab and pat my entire body, they swab and closely scrutinize my entire wheelchair.
Anything I carry with me goes through the X-ray as well as my shoes and belt just like for any other passenger.
It is precisely because there are more places to hide things on a wheelchair I think that we get this extra scrutiny but it really takes a lot longer to get through security. This is, unfortunately necessary for our safety these days. We do not get a pass.
Well, at least we get to board before everyone else. But then, I'm usually the last one to leave the plane because I have to wait for them to bring my wheelchair up from underneath. Hopefully it's not damaged, because if it is and then I'm really out of luck.
Traveling in a wheelchair is extremely difficult, especially after leaving the airport.
I don't mean to sound like sour grapes, I am thankful for the procedures that make it possible for me to travel with a wheelchair, I just think you need to get the facts straight because your video makes a wildly in accurate assumption about security and wheelchairs. We don't get a pass in security at all.
Well,
We can all thank the terrorists.... 😡
It is best to use the Airport Wheelchair and the person driving it gets you through security quicker….I found this to be the case bringing my Mom from CO to NC every second 3 months for 3yrs.

yes, When I was working for Hawaiian Airlines, a passenger on the flight to the territory of American Samoa was checking in a cooler with a frozen turkey in it. And the X-ray showed a handgun inside the turkey. The passenger did not make the flight, I don't know what happened to him.

@Tara Mcgavan : What do you mean "every city"? Maybe in a major city somewhere near the border, but not in one of the smaller cities where there aren't international airports or harbors, and that's where the mules and drug smugglers are coming into the country.
@@jacklow9611 every airport has security for that reason, even the small airports have to cover that, it’s very common, in fact the smaller the airport with less checks the more popular it will be, as said above that’s been going on for many years, it’s certainly not new.
0:41 So cute monitor lizards!💕
On a recent trip to Hawaii, I made SURE to check all the TSA rules, (its been a long while since I flew) I wanted to make sure it was smooth "sailing".
I read that I could take as many 3 oz containers as long as it fit in a certain sized clear bag.
So I got the bag and STUFFED it FULL.
Low and behold!!! My bag concerned TSA, and the Portland Or. Airport police were called to "physically examine" my carry on...... They thought my STUFFED toiletrie bag was a bomb. I made it to my gate 10 min before my plane left.....
Then on my return trip home, I was stopped and hand screened by TSA AGAIN, after xray. My friend, had given me a bag of salt from the actual Hawaiian salt pans.
TSA thought I was smuggling METH. After testing it, I was free to resume my journey. I told the TSA agent, it may LOOK like meth, but in my opinion, it was far more valuable. He had to agree.😉
I have since bought a TSA PRECHECK!!

It might also be that the Indian guy didnt want to pay heavy customs duty at Indian airports for that amount of gold. Drug smuggling draws death sentence in Singapore and Malaysia.
Its wierd how animal trafficking can be easily caught and most human trafficking cannot be.

I was traveling to Europe from Washington DC at the airport they were searching me x-raying me over and over, and patting me over and over. She asked me if I had money belt on no I said. Then I realized was my blouse, it wasn't expensive blouse but it was pleated at the front so it made to be very loose below my chest but the upper part was nicely fitted, because being pleated and more fabric than top and back, that what made them suspicious. So now on I will never ware a overly loose clothing when I travel.

When we were kids in India we had a family friend who told us cool stories about smuggling tricks. (60 years ago)
One was about a Swiss woman who traveled frequently from Bombay to Geneva. Our friend got a message from his counterpart in Geneva. "CHECK HER EYES".
He did, feeling a little silly. Sure enough she had a glass eye. She removed it for him and there was a soft suede sack full of diamonds in the hollow. 😂
WOW! What a cool story! 👍
I could just imagine buying a cane at a thrift store, ues it for years than go through TSA only to find out it was a sword cane! In living 60+ years it still blows my mind how unobservant some people are though.
The dried little birds were probably to eat. One bag in customs overseas found a bunch of dried frogs! From watching all of these customs videos, and having friends from other (Asian) countries I be come to realize that the eat almost anything, and much of it can seem pretty bizarre to American people. Birds nest made from spit, bats, insects, and some animals that we consider as pets are just some of these food items.

The guy that brought the uncooked chicken with the gun in it that was really stupid of course he's going to get busted who brings a uncorked chicken or even full cooked chicken on a plane and plus the metal detectors are going to detect it anyways less that was a stealth chicken LOL

Not the craziest, but body piercings are a humorous and classic tale from TSA agents. You'll get some who forget that their piercings are metal, and end up either having to go back to a restroom and take them off and bag them (courtesy ziploc provided by TSA), or permit a strip search to show each one before they're allowed through.
Second common tales are the kinky stuff. People who go around with plugs and vibrators. The TSA doesn't mind bring people bringing their kinks with them, but it should be packed in a bag, not in a body. Unless someone's into that extra kinky kind of exposure.
Part of stopping the pet traffic trade is give them no market it takes people not buying exsotic anaimals, leave the creature in its home, don't buy these animals. Humans can stop this by not contributing to the pet trade by purchasing these poor creatures who often suffer and are not taken care of
Why would you even bring a raw chicken aboard a plane? By itself, it's already suspicious. Wtf!
Not the centipede! Hahaha
Oh yes I’ve seen a lot of people not declare their food, when in fact almost their entire suitcase was full of food, some in pots, or pressure cookers!
Honestly. ANY Attempt of trafficking live animals of whichever sort aboard of a passenger plane, without proper papers, without declarations or permissions or without signatures (included non-chipped house pets, so a RFID must be readable to get allowance for house-pet transportation in low numbers, means not in amounts which are appearing suspicous for being rather a "transportation of freight" for being sold lateron) should be banned. In General, and with any kind of exception. Also no live Lobsters anywhere in a passenger plane please. That would result in much simpler practicing of that law.
Crazy
I am so happy world needs watch Indian lot, recently I have been scammed by Indian,
