I recently purchased a dress from The Disney Store, Oxford Street in London, UK (I live in West London) when I took grandson shopping there. I purchased the Aurora halterneck pink and blue dress and am having alterations made to make it fit perfectly and add straps as the halterneck style isn't ideal for my shape. ( I'm well endowed) the plan is to wear it next year at Disneyworld.

Does anyone please know how the sizes compare to UK sizes? ie is Medium like a UK 12? Ive been looking online and would like to order but due to shipping and customs I need the size to be ok to justify the charges. Thanks in advance

Chloe King I believe it’s been there a few years. It’s inside another building with some other shops, so it’s easy to miss. It’s by the Star Wars Shop. Sorry, I’ve only been there this one time, so I can’t give great directions!
Engie I think they are pretty true to size, if not slightly big. I typically wear a size small or medium, and the medium was too big. It looked like they carried up to 4X in the shop, but they may have more options online. Hope that helps!

I don't think it's sad at all. More and more girls are following her example. The biggest difference between what she does now and how it worked in the 50s and 60s is, she's doing it because she loves it. She wants to do this. I was a child of the sixties. We were too busy telling our parents that we knew more. So we were torn jeans and greasy hair and crappy makeup to school everyday because doing it right was just plain too much work. My mother was elegant. She was careful with her makeup and hair. I distinctly remember thinking I'm not doing this. It's just too much. Now? I wish I'd listened to her.

The enchanted tiki room dress was my favorite but the Monsters inc dress was a very close second😀.
Loved the one with the doors all over it. You could wear it loud or use more black with it to tone it down.
