It's kinda iconic that Barbie remembers to trademark not only her own name, but the names of her family & friends. How thoughtful. Tbh, that's a Christmas gift in in on it's own in what I imagine is a content factory household.
She’s gorgeous! I’m still waiting for mine to be shipped from Mattel Creations. Apparently they are going to ship on the 3rd of December. I really don’t understand their logic to ship their dolls that late. It makes totally no sense at all. I will never ever going to order from Mattel Creations again. Just hoping the doll they ship is not from the reject batch.
Congratulations on getting the stunning set! Don't think Mattel would send you a set from the reject batch. Delayed shipping and releasing the same barbie progressively seem like a thing for Mattel. I cease purchasing from Mattel directly for the very same reason (delayed shipping).

Lovely as always. 🥰 What I like most about her is the screening, it kind of looks as if they tried to freshen up her vintage look a little. I also like the second dress a lot, though I do agree that the finish on the first one could have been more finessed (the hemline at the bottom, unforgiveable, I wish they would have added a white or black fabric trim). Great review!! Makes me not want to do the planned one I was doing :) I personally really like the plastic earrings, but maybe I haven’t taken as close a look as you have. And I really wish she was a silkstone, considering the price of the whole set.
What do you want to see next? Another accessory expansion? A Ken, midge, skipper advent calendar? I think Greening said in their official unboxing video that they were making these a series, which is exciting to me.

I love mine, all the accessories and this Barbie are the perfect compliment to the reproduction 1962 Barbie dream house, this doll set was made really well, unfortunately it was sold out at the time I bought her, I had to do eBay to get her
I dont have the repro dream house :( it retails on ebay for very pricey now
Thank you so much for this video! I'm not a huge Barbie collector despite loving her my whole life. I only recently (2 yrs ago) decided to add a handful of BFMC Silkstones to my vintage toy collection. I collected Kenner Blythe Dolls (made in 1972 only) for years so I am a doll fan, I just knew if I started collecting vintage Barbies it would lead to a full-on obsession, lol. I've surprised myself by exercising rare restraint though and only have five. However, I now have two Mark Ryden Barbies on the way along with this one that I only discovered existed yesterday! Luckily, Amazon still had a few with only a slight markup in price so I jumped on it. I couldn't wait to see an unboxing, so thank you for doing one! Your video is fantastic and I love your mom's tree! Merry Christmas!
I’m glad you found her on Amazon! I love Kennet Blythes! I have none, but I have similar feelings you do about vintage Barbie, if I start I might not stop haha. So currently focussing on vintage Barbie

She's beautiful! Love the doll, the dresses, the "gifts" (especially the mugs), even the incredible reusable box. I'm having regrets now that I didn't buy her this past Christmas...😞

Mattel has done a lovely job on this doll but I’ve certainly got better things to do than spend $300 on a seasonal doll even if I like her a lot

@@somelikeitvntg well I must admit after the horrible fiasco of last year when I bought myself the silkstone bubblecut doll for my birthday (just after Christmas) … and the bad quality Mattel is happy to sell us for high prices, not to mention the difficulty of getting a lot of the collectors dolls here in Japan. My interest in dolls has died down to almost complete!
I moved a month ago into a new house where I have MUCH more room and… not one doll in sight! I don’t even miss them… and I had been collecting since 1995 (if you don’t count the ones I have kept sin childhood in the 70s…)
Also and fyi if you want to put the gold dress or Santa dress with an actual vintage or 1990s reproduction you cannot because the chest is more defined and unfortunately you cannot fully close it you might be thinking this is an exact body type to a vintage or reproduction it isn't the chest is less defined which make the clothes a perfect fit for the doll specifically just a forewarning if you want ant to put it on a vintage doll because the fabric isn't cheap it is still Prone to tearings at the bust.

Oh, thank you so much for sharing this wonderful Christmas Barbie set! The dresses are wonderful and the little Santa mugs on the tray are so sweet! I really love the embroidery around the bottom of the red dress. I agree that she needs a bit more jewelry sparkle and/or shine, though. A great “special touch” would have been a “B” embroidered on the red stocking. The box is beautiful, too. Also, that is a very beautiful Christmas tree in the background of the final presentation! I’ll be watching this video repeatedly, for sure.
Yes, I agree she’s missing some finishing touches! I decorated the tree all by myself this year haha. The decorations and lights are all new. I wanted a colorful vintage style tree. The tree skirt is my moms from the 90s

I honestly think she's very pretty, but at 40 dollars she'd be overpriced, the design is beautiful but 150 dollars for a doll with basic 5 points of articulation and 2 well made but very basic dresses and some small plastic pieces is too much.

That’s what kept me from purchasing her on Mattel creations when she came out. But then I saw her show up on Target with free and fast shipping and I thought…”oh, what the heck! I haven’t bought anything for myself for the holidays.”

For the price it should be a Silkstone. For that reason I didn't buy her but I will if I can find one cheaper and even in used condition.

Hello, what do you mean by frimware? If you mean rooting pattern, she has full rooting around the hairline and through out the scalp.
