I love the frilly socks I wore them last year when I went on Holiday to York with my Hot Chocolate Romeo Juliet Shoes. And agree they are so cute. The velvet dress is stunning I am obsessed with lace and velvet dresses love the haul:)

I always find a lot of cool clearance items at my local New Look. People are very conservative in my area so anything 'strange' looking goes on clearance. I use a lot of the items in DIY projects. A couple of months ago I got an army green microfiber trench-coat. I have a dystopian/post-apocalyptic aesthetic so I may add some stud or safety-pin decor to it. If I feel extra daring I may even put a patch or two in it. I have a pair of their black crushed velvet leggings and they are of a really good quality. It is an excellent store to find clothing pieces to upcycle and turn 'alternative'.
