I just discovered them a few days ago and noticed that a few of the dresses priced 80+ looked sheer/see through on the models. It did look like cheaper material which is a bummer because they have such pretty modest dresses.
I've seen a few items I was so tempted to buy but something about the material/model photos got alarm bells ringing. I'm so disappointed their quality really has dropped so much especially for the prices they charge! They really should be moving to better quality/longer lasting clothing at this point from a sustainability perspective. Thank you for sharing an open and honest review! 🖤

Wow I had the same with the sizes… and it sucks cause I live in the Netherlands and we pay a lot for returns to the UK. Sad but I think I won’t order again at Disturbia… good to see I’m not the only one
I had such a bad experience with disturbia as well, sent all of it back because I was shocked at how bad the fabric was. Such bad quality for the price!!! One of my items completely broke the first day I wore it and I had to fight with them to get my money back, so disappointing.
They do a lot of polyester and acrylic, I always check description and buy things only if they are cotton or mostly cotton, because I noticed with other fabrics the quality is just not there sadly
New Look clothes are better made than both Disturbia and Killstar. Every single time I go into the New Look near me I find something cool. Found a black and white blazer there the other month for only £15.
River Island is amazing quality too and their sales are brilliant, plus they're a family owned buisness. I've noticed even stores like Asos selling a lot of alt clothes, they're just giving people less reasons to shop at Disturbia
I have 2 things from disturbia one a top that my mum bought for me idk the name of ot but its a long sleeved sort of dark grey stripey cropped one and its shorter in the back than the front which makes its really uncomfortable to wear so ive only worn it once. Then i had a long green dress which is actually really nice it fit me really well
Really to bad about those clothes ;( I do think the bell sleeved dress was definitely made wrong and you are right that the sleeves should be thinner at the top and then flare out. It would have been better if they made it in velvet or another fabric which would hang more nicely. The jacket looked very nice, but the sizing issue and loose buttons was too bad. I've never purchased from them and guess I probably won't ever with all the issues you have had in this order, and the past. Happy Holidays Sweetie
The majority of the time they do have reviews on their items, but if you're like me, you prefer seeing videos of people trying the clothing on and talking about them, and you seem to be one of the only people on youtube doing that, so I want to say thank you for the videos you've done on them. My big issue with Disturbia (though I LOVE the way the clothes look) is that their dresses can be so unflattering on the waist, they make you look shapeless sometimes. I'm sure you can supplement that with a harness or belt, but sometimes that isn't the look, and I shouldn't have to always add a belt. The prices are INSANE too, like $84 for one dress? They're so pretty, but now I just wait for a sale because I can't justify spending that much unless it's a special occasion. Maybe they'll listen to the people and fix these problems, but I don't blame customers who don't want to wait around for that to possibly happen.

They don’t have it in a dress form but the pattern the first dress is in - the skirt part on attitude clothing forest ink have a similar skirt if that’s helpful. They’re a good company with good quality expensive but what disturbia should be
I think Disturbia, Killstar, and the like are going the fast fashion route. Their quality definitely has fallen off. Sizing has always been a hit or miss thing, however. Most of their items are made in China, no doubt. It's pretty bad that Shein items seem to be made better, and the prices Disturbia and the others charge outpace the quality. I'll stick to shopping local like Hot Topic when I want to buy something new, or buy an older but better quality item second hand. (Jan Griffiths).
Disturbia is so strange because it used to be really good and then all of the sudden it dropped and also the pieces became less “stylised” like they became more mainstream than alternative (IMO) I got the black and white striped cotton dress in the sale (the beetle juice one) with the bag and the bag is better quality than the dress. Plus the sizing is whack I got it in a size 8 a size smaller and It fits like a uk size 12 Their sizing is weird and the quality isn’t as good anymore not sure what’s happened
I mean if you really like something you can always DIY it to make it better or get a professional seamstress to fix it. However I knew what you mean I think a lot of people is getting tired of the quality issues with killstar and disturbia.

I'm sorry your haul was so disappointing. No care is taken or given with manufacturer's these days. And no, you are not being picky. You would expect a good quality item if you are paying so much. As you say, even Primark can get it right most of the time so why can't others. It annoys me that no care is given these days, they use cheap materials, constantly cut conners, can't be bothered to sew buttons on properly and my pet grievance is, plastic or hidden zips 🤦 I can sew a button back on no problem, I can even resew a seam that is coming undone, take up or take in a garments. What I can't do and most other tailors can't do, is get a plastic invisible zip to glide nicely over a seam, they just can't handle it and will give up pretty soon. Why they don't use silver metal chunkey zips (or gold if that's your vibe) that could easily handle working over several layers is beyond me 🤦 and I personally like a statement zip. I wanted to let you know that I tried placing an order in your shop and it acted very strangely first setting up the charge in paypal in usd and then when I thought I was checked out, it seemed to try and charge me again showing euros. I don't understand what was happening so I didn't complete it because I was concerned about getting charged twice.

I think because all payments have to be made in £’s it might have thrown it off with different currencies but I haven’t had an orders or payments come through so you shouldn’t have been charged. the coat is lovely on you but not worth 110 pounds !!! you should try and find a second hand leather coat , there are plenty out there .

I bought pants good quality but they are way too long I'm a tall girl at 5'9 the pants are made for someone over 6ft 😂
