Thanks for the honest feedback Matt! We're happy to have played a small role in helping your game. Agreed that the hard work is done on the field for sure, and there is no replacing regular training. But if you're a serious player, looking for those percentage gains to reach the top then we got you 🤝
Definitely 🙌🏼 I’m excited to continue to develop with Be Your Best this season!
@beyourbestpro have you ever thought about doing a game like this for boxing ?
@@nicksjourney9871 there is already a boxing vr game though
Arsene Wenger said, “What is interesting is that very good players scan six to eight times in the 10 seconds before getting the ball and normal ones three to four times. That is a major step for improvement. “However, more important - you have to analyse the quality of perception and decision making. My challenge is to get my players to know which the best choice is and make the optimal decision every time they get the ball.”
I use be your best a lot, and I would say its improved my scanning and decision making my critical scans my scan timing and like he said in the video theres no physical strain on the body. But, its not going to be the thing that makes you the best player on the field, be your best can certainly be that IF you have the technical basics down. Because if you have the knowledge of when to scan and what decisions to make but have a bad first touch then its not going to make it any easier. But I also think you don't have to get be your best to get that decision making or scanning you can also train it in real life .TLDR It's good but very expensive if you can afford it and feel free but keep training your on the field skills before scanning
what type of vr is best? i don’t want to spend too much, is the cheaper one good?
@SamuelVassallo-d4p I have the meta quest 2 and it works just fine I would say but the meta quest 2 and buy the head set strap which is about 40 more dollars but I'd worth it so that well you're moving your head the headset doesn't shake
@ k thanks but there can i buy the meta quest 2? on the site i can only find the 3 :/
Hi, please tell me approximately how many times a week and for how many minutes you use VR? Have you noticed that the scenarios repeat and become predictable? Has the speed and quality of your decision-making improved during the game?
@AndreiErnest so I've had 335 sessions for a total of 554 minutes I have had the headset and be your best since May. I had the money to buy It so I gambled and I think it payed off. So as you progress through our your "career" on the headset the speed of play gets better you scam more and you do see a lot of the same scenarios at one level but there's still probably like 30 for each level of play and the level of play goes up by 5% and goes all the way up to 120%. so you have to play for a long time until you remember each one. But I have seen a 16 percent increase in my decision making in the game, and a 170% increase in my critical scans, and I believe 10% increase in scan timing, and a 23% increase in my scans. I really have seen improvement on the field making better passes and scanning a lot more and i train about 5 times a week about 30 minutes a week. I'm currently injured so I'm using be your best to get smarter well I'm injured. I also think its not just about practicing the VR and you'll be good at scanning practice scans well passing in drills and stuff all the time any time your training hammer it into your brain. But if you have the money to buy it I would say totally go for it I think you'll see an increase and its a great tool and it will definitely help you get better if you have any more questions just reply again I'm happy to help
I’ve used it consistently for about 6 or so months. Definitely notice the difference in scan rate and critical scanning. Its no substitute for real training, but if you are at home and already showered, its a great way to get some extra work in without physical fatigue. Use it only if you can and if its convenient. Don’t rely on it as your main tool for improvement.
Appreciate the feedback

@@Freeze-x5f I used to play for about 15 minutes a day. I don’t notice the scenarios repeat too much honestly. In real game I do play a bit quicker but real game is much different than the VR because normal people don’t move like pros or in a VR
I’m going to have to implement this into my training. I’m playing with a player who was at EC Bahia for 8 years and the reason he’s so amazing on the ball is because of how well he scans as the ball is coming to him.
Your performance has remarkably improved
🔥Let's goo the man who helped me get my first semi pro contract love ur vids matt
Love to hear that! I’m stoked for you
Did you ever try the soccer intelligym?
Q&A. If I want to jump higher or br more explosive should I do Plyometrics?
Don’t you find that in actual soccer you’ve got a better feel for who is around you, how much they’re willing to run, and the fact that you might pretend to not see someone when you do?
how do you feel "be your best" would be for younger players. ie u12's etc.
Good question. Wonder if this would help with early development with kids also.
I think 12-13 is probably a good time to start with this sort of training.
Love your vids would like if we could get some game analysing just like last season❤
hey how many hours of training per day would u recommend for a 14 year old?
Q/A. Hey Matt, how do you network with high level players and find either groups or partners to train with. I personally train 1-2 sessions a day at 13, but I feel like I can never find people to play with.
As a semi pro, a lot of days are lonely but you’ll come across some people in your journey. Go to common pick up spots and fields and you’ll catch people putting in work. Keep those people close and put the work in. You’ll attract what you seek.
Thanks for the long commercial
🔥
⭐
Yo Matt can you react to my pre season scrimmage highlights. If you can’t no problem
Super early ❤️

Video games only keep you on the same level that you are already are e.g mirror neurons 😱
I tried these but got motion sickness so it was completely not usable for me. Thankfully beyourbest refunded me.
This looks horrible.
What happened to the match analysis?? Are you not in the games?
I agree bring those back. Not these influencer advertising VR stuff.
I don't think he's getting any minutes
@@JoelKisabo He should of stayed on team that wasn't that high up on the table, but would get a lot more playing time. He might just be trying to go for a trophy before he retires soon. But these 6min videos on advertising are so annoying. Literally just for a paycheck. He's for sure played more golf on that then this soccer game..lol
