Bro, I always go confident against darius but a few days ago for the first time I got a darius with phase rush and I felt scary like the first time I faced a darius in my life, it wasn't fun
I think darius has to mess up his rotations to proc phase rush reliably, darius like to start trades with AA W and keep autoing you, but by that time garen already activated his phase rush and ran away, also darius damage reduces a lot without conqueror
My trick against Darius is to first, take Ghost/ignite to escape Bad trades or win close trades. Then i do this thing on first Wave, take aggro of enemy Wave before it crashes, make em stay where they are for a second and drop the aggro, they Will focus one of your Minions and naturally push against You. Next is to bait Darius, force him to waste a spell or simply q your Minions. Don't get damage the first 3 levels and wait the Wave. Don't waste Q if he grabs You, wait for his slow and then q away. Play around his range and don't push without Ghost. Actually, don't push at all. Also, don't back, stay safe undertower and wait for the passive, if he gets greedy You can outplay his dives with W and ignite. Go full damage allways. Ignite him for his second Q, that makes the difference. If he catches You just Ghost away, don't be greedy. Also, allways go for the Wave, Even when getting ganked, a kill from your jg is better than a doublekill and towerplates. Is important to know when You can kill him, otherwise he gets full stacks and suddenly is inmortal.
8:31 in cases like this, where you see that you are badly positioned or if the Darius is placed between you and the tower all the time during that trade, wouldn't it be better to recast E to cancel it and then hit him with Q to activate Phase Rush before? This way he will be silenced and won't be able to grab you with his E and you can get out before he does more damage, what do you think about that?
Another thing, I don't know if Riot already fixed it, but Garen's God-King skin had a glitch where if you used the Q while in the E animation, the Q animation came out extremely fast (just to give you an idea, the Q glitch animation was faster than using an AA). so you could activate Phase Rush much faster, if it's not fixed yet, this would be the best skin to use with Garen, the other skins don't have that glitch.
Will you do a similar video about the Fiora matchup or about ranged top laners like Teemo,Gnar,Caitlyn etc.?Also if I have Conqueror+Nimbus Cloak runes,what should the approach be against Darius?(let's say I jumped into a Quickplay match)
