What you say is true, Dm75- is the same as Fmi6 ( first inversion) and F dorian fits perfectly. Than altered over G7( alt) to Cmi. Sounds great 👍
It’s all Eb in different form being rootless etc 😂

Altered over G7 is Ab melodic = as bes ces des es g getting more alterations ( but if you want you can play Es right true)
the guys mimics are hilarious, thanks for the advice
Thanks man!
Yep, good info! For a long time, minor 7th arpeggios with some chromaticism have just set well under my fingers as a way in to improvisation.
Woaaah learned a lot from this! Thank you :D
Glad to hear bro
Great Lesson! You had me at "Martino." Thanks!!! Subbed!
Martino have some great books on this
He sure do!
Yeah, but how do you choose the root note of the minor scale? Just use the one where the chord is diatonic?
Yeah! They are all related! A Dm7b5 is the same as an Fm with the 6th in the bass.
Of course, D m7 b5 = Fmin6, or an F min triad over D
Both in Eb scale, what’s the deal… not too complicated
He didn’t write that book 😂😂😂
Ok :)
