We got the movie Scoob. Now, I want Shaggy. In the near future, a weary Shaggy cares for an ailing Scooby at a remote outpost on the Mexican border. His plan to hide from the outside world gets upended when he meets a young Scrappy Doo who is very much like his dying friend. Shaggy must now protect the dog and battle the dark forces that want to capture him. Shaggy will be reluctant at first, but Scooby will convince him that Mystery Inc. needs to come back, and Scrappy is the only way to do that. The three will set out in the battered, rusty Mystery Machine on a trip across the United States, in an attempt to get Scrappy to safety. Over the course of the movie, it will be hinted that Scooby may have caused the deaths of the other Mystery Inc. members. It will be rated R, and Shaggy will have a gun.

U might not know but after a 10 year run with 3 shows Scooby-Doo was in trouble of getting cancelled and that's the reason why Scrappy-Doo was made in the first place. Say what u will about him. Love him or hate him but it's what Hanna-Barbera did 2 create him and save Scooby-Doo's ratings so it won't get cancelled. I never despised Scrappy as a kid but I watched the live-action movie and now I c why he was the villain because of Scrappy haters and found him annoying next 2 Star Wars with Jar Jar haters. Actually Scrappy Doo was very well received upon his introduction and can actually be contributed as an important factor for why the franchise has remained on our screens with very small gaps between.

I'm twenty and this was one of my favorite movies growing up. Love it, even though it's so dumb.

I didn't hate Scrappy Doo as a kid so I was confused as to why he was made into the villain for the movie.

I didn't watch the show when I was a kid, so as far as I was concerned, the movie was just throwing all sorts of randomness at me and I was like "okay."

Yeah, me too. I was very young and I remember leaving the cinema sad because of what they did with Scrappy-Doo. It was like watching a Batman movie where Robin was the villain.

Was hoping for a Wing Commander reference when you mentioned Matthew Lillard, was excited to see it when you got to Freddie Prinze, Jr. Thank you!

The Supernatural Scoobie Doo episode did everything that that needed to be done with Scoobe Doo in a modern setting.
