ok i’m not one to expose excellent moves and times, especially that wrong warp but this run is clearly spliced (0:06) so i’m not sure about this runs validity. other than that, good stuff :D
If you’re talking normal gameplay, tough to say. He might be fully conscious for all this; heck, one might be able to say he’s actually in partial control of his body. He and the speed demon seem to form some sort of symbiotic relationship, with the demon sometimes getting Mario out of dangerous situations he otherwise wouldn’t have gotten out of. If you’re talking the madness that happens at about 0:42, yeah, I’m tempted to say that Mario was aware of everything going on at that point. Doesn’t mean his body was built for it though.
I had to go watch a 15 minute video explaining the "Wrong Warp" exploit to fully appreciate TerminalMontage's pure madness.
0:24 I still love how this entire section is essentially an 1 to 1 recreation on what the actual speedrun looks like.

Either he’s doing a Mario speedrun himself or Something About (insert Mario game here) SPEEDRUN!
Given that the last clips were all from the subspace emmisary video.... maybe a hint to Smash Bros or smth? Maybe speed demon?
I doubt this has to do with anything and he's probably doing it for another reason but I requested him to do this when the clips channel began
He might just be working through the series, but the best confirmation will be if he likes your comment
