- In this video, I visit the Chuck E. Cheese Legacy Store in Nanuet, NY that has finished their renovations. This is CEC's "100% Retro Store" since they kept the old carpeting and artwork.

There are a bunch of Studio Cs in America that look better than Nanuet. I think they saved Nanuet because the location and wanted a cheap retro store concept.
it was never going to be a "100% retro store" according to mark. But rather a semi-retro store in a way. - why they are keeping the old carpet, artwork, etc. But also includes a FEW modern items like the dance floor.
When I heard retro I thought they would make everything avenger, play the old show tapes, reprogram the bot, but NOPE, just put some artwork and keep the bot or should I say-STATUE it would make no difference if the dance floor WAS there
This store was definitely a cheap concept they threw together. Mark said that what they did for the fans was the other 4 locations. This is what CEC wanted to do.

CEC has gotten lazy with the 2.0 remodel. They did a better job with NorthRidge.
Pineville is going to be the best 2.0. They did it just like Northridge except Pineville has that awesome memorabilia exhibit.
Apparently it’s just soooo hard to get more retro art and decor sent to Nanuet from the distribution center 🤦♂️

Mark revealed the store was never planned to be "100%" Retro in the first place. Those articles lied to us all.

I grew up in or around Nanuet, New York. It's fantastic that Chuck E Cheese has now made a permanent home here. Should I ever visit Rockland County, New York again, I would definitely like to make a stop here and stay a while. I know exactly where it is. (It's off the NY State Thruway of exit 14 Southbound.)

@@LiamCherkasky I know of one other Chuck E Cheese that might be closer than the one you mentioned in your presentation. It is in Paramus, New Jersey, off Route 4. Go off the Thruway Exit 14A (You'll be at the Northern tip of the Garden State Parkway), then go off Exit 163 on the GSP. Head South on Route 17, then East on Route 4. Chuck E Cheese is in the Macy's Plaza to your left. If anything, it's less than an hour from Nanuet, New York.
@@alexanderpappas2875 Paramus already got the 2.0 remodel, as well as every other CEC in New Jersey. There are only the two stores in NY and one in PA left.

@@The.short.one22 The outskirts of NYC. Most CEC’s don’t have animatronics anymore, except for the 5 legacy stores.

This store is gonna be underrated
And the rocker stage will just continue collect more dust sitting in a warehouse for who knows how many months, days or years never to be seen by newer generations ever again
