Ever since the Voodoo Lounge tour, I realized that when The Stones come through, simply throw the credit card down. Don't stress about it. It's worth it. Every f'n show exceeds expectations. Mick described us last night as the "most rowdy". That says it all. Best band of all time.

They say he does the same thing for 3 hours every single day that he does on stage. That's apparently his workout I just turned 60 I can't do it for 10 minutes. My significant other keeps saying when are you going to stop going to the Stones concert? I always say if they keep coming around I'm going to go see them. They keep coming around and honestly it's the only band I see these days. Actually the only concert I've been to since 2018 black Sabbath. is the only show I've been to besides the Stones in the past 20: years.

When you first hear the sound of these electric guitars live you realize that all the music and bands you've ever seen, with the possible exception of The Beatles, never came close to the feeling of Rock and Roll, which made this a unique artform. It is like a sound from another planet and a pure expression of abandoned repression. You have to experience this Live. No record album, no tv show, no RUclips video will do. Go and be refreshed in the energy of pure Rock and Roll. And you will have the time of your life. Peace.

That was a very good review Joe. I was there way up in section 409, so they were very small, but I hadn't ever seen the Stones before. This was a bucket list on a budget. I thought they were obviously old now but still put on a great show. I would have liked to have changed the setlist for a song or two, but it was great. Even up by the rafters, we could see Mick constantly running around the stage, and then he played harmonica on several songs - I couldn't do that and I'm 20 years younger than he is. The bass player was great, especially on Miss You. And the female vocalist (I don't know her name yet either) was spectacular! Miss You into Gimme Shelter was a real highlight for me. Wow. I've so glad I was there and finally got to see this iconic band!

I remember in the 1980’s, I saw them early on in a tour and I thought they sounded awful but later into the tour they were amazing. I mentioned the dramatic improvement to my late husband, who had seen them many times, and he just laughed at me and said the early shows are their rehearsals and they charge us just for the privilege of being in the same building and if I wanted perfect, listen to their albums. I’ve found them to be consistent in that pattern. Early in the tour, it’s pure joy, late in the tour, it’s supernatural. Just go whenever you get a chance!

Joe, I was at the show last night with my sister and neices. It is almost 50 years since I first saw the Rolling Stones in Boulder Colorado at Folsom Stadium for the Some Girls tour. I have seen them 8 or 9 times since then. I have to say that this was one of their most powerful performances. Although, I noticed that many of the songs have been shortened in their length, kind of making an AM song out of an FM song (younger readers won't understand that). Miss You was an exception... Gimme Shelter was awesome as always and the new "Back Up Singer" is an incredible/great addition after Lisa Fischer. Did miss Midnight Rambler, but loved they acknowledged VooDoo Lounge. Sorry for Rough Justice.
Not to be political, but compare 80 year old Mick rocking the crowd to 81 year old US President... To parody Tommy Boy, the US is screwed!! Keith was shuffling a bit and seemed a little confused at first, but then embraced the evening and rocked it song after song. And Ronnie, he is such a performer and has so much fun even as he rips off incredible riffs and then the slide work he does....

Tailgating was awesome and the concert experience has become what has inspired many other true rockers with a deep desire to become......legendary !!!
Mick Jagger was out there on stage for over two hours skipping and a jumping and I would not have been surprised if he started doing cartwheels down the runway....at the age of 79, four years after atrial valve surgery !!!
Keith Richards and Ronny Wood belted out the riffs on their guitars in the kick ass way we have come to know as we were being taught how to rock and roll by the best....
Prayers were said for Charley Watts as Steve Jordan set the tempo and banged our heads the way it should be done.....
      What a great concert.
Truly a band that inspires the artistic psyche of our future rockers....
THE ROLLING STONES......if you can make it to the show it is definately true......

In fact, as a band, they were much tighter during the 90s and early-2000s, though not nearly as exciting as the 70s and 80s Stones. But in the mid 2000s to today, they’ve pretty much been doing the same show over and over. In the last 10 years, Kieth has really lost a step. Mick still brings it, but do I really need to see a hyperactive 80-year old? No. And I totally agree that they should have called it a day when Charlie died. It just doesn’t seem right anymore.

The Rolling Stones, were established the same year I was circa1962 I was their biggest fan at one point, I had the Largest Stones Collection in the entire East Coast. I had all their studio albums & two bootleg albums where Mick, sang in French& German, I had over 125 pins& buttons in a shoe box plus Autographed albums, I used to wait outside Hotels to get Autograph's, I had every tour book from 1972's Tumbling Dice Tour, until 1989 Steel Wheels Tour, I had huge flag/banners. Tour shirts, 65 sew on patches, eight different drinking glasses with various Stones tour logo's on them, I had lithographs, signed. Had Original Photos with Brian Jones, framed.also had their 20th anniversary collage with your postcards & Copy of Brian Jones last letter to the Stones. Had the tongue & lips red telephone that worked. Had several Rolling Stones, bumper stickers. Yep I had it all& lugged all of it around in 14 boxes for 34 yrs. I finally got tired of lugging my Stones, collection around & Sold it all to a throw back woodstock hippie, who was blown away when he seen my Collection. He said any chance you selling this.. I told him how much & he delivered... 🎸🥁🎤🎙️🎷🎹🎶

I love the vote song 🎵 ❤️ 💕 where the people get to vote on the song that they really, really want to hear. To,me that's a 1st class act. No one will ever come close to them. They did play Beast of Burden at our concert and I won the AARP VIP tickets so couldn’t have been happier! My ticket was $450 but where I ended up must have been in the $1000’s. Agreed Mick's the energy of the band. It's clear if they didn't have him they wouldn't have lasted as long as they have. So that's a big blessing for them and us fans. I can't comment on entire concerts because they've not played in Australia as much as other countries. They play reasonably well given their ages. I think inevitability Keith's not going to maintain at least this level much lomger. And agreed again, it's an honour to see them.

It just blows me away that with everything that's happened to them? The highs the very lows almost losing Keef back in the 70's! But even with the loss of Charlie , they still sound great thanks to Steve Jordain playing giving tge band a new found energy! Sure they've slowed a bit but they are legends and still have that WOW! Factor! This could very well be the last hurrah for them(Mick&Keef are 80!) But I've learned to never say never as I thought the last tour was it? So let's just enjoy them now cause it can't last forever!❤️🎸😎👍

My problem with the live shows is first off Keith, who for a few decades now hasn't been able to play his iconic guitar solo to 'Sympathy For The Devil' and consistently screws it up, with a plethora of bum notes. He has done the same thing to the intro of 'Gimme Shelter' and don't even get me started on 'It's Only Rock & Roll' which they turned into a Chuck Berry schmooze fest, I honestly believe they couldn't play it's iconic intro if their lives depended on it.
Secondly for the last few decades now Mick's live vocals have suffered from his having to cut off parts of words and sometimes just breathily mumbling some because he's winded from running around a football field sized stage trying to impress everyone with his gymnastics, I remember a time when Mick could either stand in one spot behind the mic or off to the sides of the microphone stand, and command the fucking stage like no one else could ever hope to.
I still LOVE the Stones but we consciously made the 2015 Raleigh NC Carter Finley show our last big concert because of all the damned hoops we had to endure just to park and get in to the venue, security searches, video cams everywhere, fucking spy drones flying all over the goddamn place and for ticket prices that would have bought me a nice new Les Paul, which would have been money more well spent than seeing an automaton performance of the same fucking songs that they've been doing forever.

It used to be that one could buy a concert ticket and see the band play, or buy the album and listen to the band as much as you wanted.
Now you buy a concert ticket, or a couple of ounces of gold.
They are the best living Rock-n-roll band and worth seeing (maybe once) at these prices. But I'm glad I saw them in 1980 for $12. And in the 90s for about $30. The glimmer twins really don't need another billion. And my retirement is more important at this point.
    Rock on.

The last time I saw the Stones was in 2013 at the verizon center in DC. I tried buying tickets out front before the show but I couldn't find any for under $150, so i went to the pub down the street, downed about 3 beers and then walked right up to the front door of the arena as if walking in to will call, then i did a quick little pivot toward the elevator entrance (to the suite level, which i was familiar with as i had several "ins" with suite owners back in the day, and that is how they enter). The elevator door opened, i got in, and then the elevator went up to the suite level, opened, and...... NOBODY WAS STANDING THERE ON THE SUITE LEVEL. So i plum walked right in. FREE. I went down to the Captain Morgan bar area and paid the bouncer $10 for a barstool basically right behind and to the left of the soundboard, lower level. I figured that would be the last stones tour. Mick Taylor came out for a few songns. This WAS 11 YEARS AGO!

There are videos of Mick Jagger's intense workouts. He never stops. Clean living and strenuous exercise. I'm now 74 years old. I had the privilege of seeing them in concert in San Francisco in 1966. People could actually sit on the edge of the stage. Things were not so crazy at the time. I was sitting a few feet from him as he sat on the stage singing 'Lady Jane'. My first concert at 16 years old...

I miss those days but I'm retired from attending concerts, too much money and the people attending are just different, not the flower children of the 60s and 70s for sure. I had a T-shirt made once that said, "I may be old but I got to see all the really cool bands." Oh, two of the times I saw The Rolling Stones in concert, Stevie Wonder opened for them and the other time Chuck Berry opened for them at The Will Rogers Auditorium in Fort Worth, Texas that had just 2800 seats!
