I found a couple of these problems quite confusing; converting 88mg to g, you said divide, but in the beginning you said going from a smaller value to a larger one means multiply. mg are smaller than g in this problem, so why did you divide? Also, when you're going 3 spaces to the right or left, how do you know where to start or stop? For instance, the problem 7280 mcg to mg, you started at the 2 instead of the 7; why not start at the 7, and end behind the 8? Should I always start at the second number? I'm not saying you're, I'm just saying I don't understand. Thanks for any help you can give; math at any level gives me major anxiety!

Answer this question for me, please, is a head scratcher:
1.0 cubic centimetre (cm^3) of a solution contains 0.010g of salt. What is the mass of salt contained in 1 cubic decimetre (dm^3) of the same solution?
Textbook says 10g but I disagree, my answer is 0.1g
Which answer is correct and Why?

So basically Big unit to smaller unit - multiply AND for Big units to Bigger units - divide ? Example mg to mcg, we multiply and for g to kg we divide ?

Enjoyed your tutorial. I noticed that we didn't work on the last two conversions. I tried to use the method and found out that if
you use mcg to convert, it seems that using g or kg you have 6 zeroes minus or plus to solve the conversion. Is that what it is?
