@@beachboysswiftie The one problem with that idea is that Flight Deck is a terrain coaster, and even though Valleyfair does have some terrain to work with, there's no guarantee that it'll be the right kind of terrain.
Kinda have to disagree about Disney “moving the competition and not the other way around.” Both Pandora and Galaxy’s Edge was reactionary to Wizarding World and Galaxy and Tron is a reaction to Hagrids and Velocicoaster. Universal can announce, build and open an entire attraction in 2 years compared to Disney’s 5 to 7 years. It will be interesting to see how Disney reacts when Epic Universe opens.
Tron was announced before even Hagrid's was announced. The fact that it could be potentially considered a reaction to Velocicoaster is embarrassing on Disney's part for taking this long to construct it

I was just there this week and it already feels like they have been shrinking down and not maintaining animal attractions over the years. The back part of the park where the animals are was pretty much deserted. I was basically the only guest back there, albeit it was on a pretty slow weekday.
As far as wonderlands entrance goes, I think it’s getting replaced asap. It gets swamped every morning with 30+ minute waits almost no matter the day or weather. With the way attendance has been this year I would give it 2025 at the latest.

Probably not if it's a land deal. Unless property values take a major nosedive by the time the deal is closed, I doubt there's much of a chance for the park to be saved.
I would argue that Guardians of the galaxy is Disney’s most thrilling coaster, but thats more-so due to the lack of other thrill coasters in the chain.
@@oliverduck22 Railblazer to MA is a pipe dream. Patriot, while old, will either go to Valleyfair or MA, if it is to be relocated st all, which I'd hope.
Buy or Sell: Because CGA has to close in a couple of years, either Michigan´s Adventure or Valleyfair will receive the Railblazer as a replacement for their aging Arrow Corkscrew.
I might rethink selling the Busch gardens giga. They just announced they’re gonna be using the boneyard area behind festhaus for development. This would give a coaster like drachen fire a lot more room to have a full circuit . Especially after the family coaster going in darkastle.
A lot of us were surprised when we saw Wicked Twister get scrapped instead of moved to CGA after seeing that they planned to add an Impulse. Now it all makes sense. Cedar Fair was probably negotiating the sale last year and knew there was no sense in moving Wicked Twister anymore so they figured just scrap it
Tampa getting a Giga could definitely be in the cards. My friend and I attended the ACE Spring Conference at Busch Gardens Tampa this last May and my friend asked Neil Thurman (park president) of what kind of coaster he wishes to get for the park and responded with "There's this kind of coaster that starts with a G..." And while of course he couldn't give away anything, the park is very interested in getting a B&M Giga sometime in the future, and may be a good prediction for a park other than a Cedar Fair park to get a Giga.
Every coaster model has a different lifespan though, and it since B&M is only 32 years old we are just barely running into the first issues with their longevity. Hulk cycling 3 trains 365 days a year only took what...17 years to tear itself apart? You gotta think Kumba is going to have the same issues in a year round park and being 6 years older, probably just with fewer cycles
Speaking of, there are comments on other videos with links to leave feedback for cedar point. Go there and let’s give them a piece of our minds on TTD’s potential removal! I think the comments I saw were in some of Theme Park Prediction’s videos.
Another example of a park replacing a wooden coaster with another better woodie is Efteling. Joris and the Draak is arguably a much more dynamic dueling coaster than Pegasus, a hastily made short Intamin wooden coaster.
Buy or Sell: the next time you make one of these videos. Another big announcement will happen. You made one the weeks of the sea world offer, the dragster closing for the season, and the CGA announcement. Also thank you for the awesome videos.
Buy or Sell: At Cedar Point, Top Thrill Dragster will permanently close and be taken down after the 2022 season. In the coming years, it will be replaced by Rail Blazer or another relocation from California’s Great America. TTD has always been maintenance hell for the park and the unfortunate accident last year did not help matters. Since Cedar Fair is known to completely spoil CP with coasters, I think this is likely especially after dropping WT and potentially Dragster as mentioned above from their coaster lineup.
As for the new entrance for Wonderland, there are markers everywhere at the front, the grassy part where Leviathans turn is. I'd like to see Rmc at Wonderland. Maybe Wildebeast. I don't want to say this but if Wonderland removes Minebuster for a water park expansion. Buy or sell?
Buy or Sell 1: After 3-5 years, Green Lantern is packed up and moved to Six Flags Darien Lake, Six Flags Mexico or La Ronde and have its stand-up trains scrapped and replaced with Floorless ones. Buy or Sell 2: Energylandia gets a B&M Giga sometime around 2024 or 2025. Buy or Sell 3: Knott’s Berry Farm’s future B&M Hyper will have a drop larger than its height, similar to Apollo’s Chariot and Phantom’s Revenge. Buy or Sell 4: A future B&M Wing coaster will feature rare elements, such as a Flying Snake Dive (seen only on Stormrunner at Hersheypark) or a Butterfly inversion (seen only on Goudurix at Parc Asterix and Blue Hawk at Six Flags Over Georgia).
I think there are still chances to save Great America. The city will put up a fight against it. In terms of theme park history, there's a lot of important pieces here. The park isn't what it was in its heyday with Yankee Harbor and Yukon Territory....but they still have a few Arrow attractions and a VR101 Skyway and the Carousel... those things are really important. My hope is that another company buys it and keeps it as a theme park....idk...even if they reduced the footprint a bit to make it more cohesive...
I absolutely love this series! Here’s some of my ideas! Buy or sell: SFGA’s next coaster will be a dual launched coaster themed to a DC character Buy or sell: S&S will not make anymore free spins Buy or Sell: The next giga will go to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Buy or Sell: Mall of America will go bankrupt and Nickelodeon universe will permanently closed Hope you use some of my ideas in your video!
I considered a B&M Invert or Wing coaster for T3’s replacement because the park needs a new B&M after their only one, a Stand-up named Chang, was shipped off to Great Adventure after Six Flags ditched Kentucky Kingdom. I know Banshee at Kings Island and Thunderbird at Holiday World are not too far from Kentucky Kingdom, but then again, Hersheypark, Great Adventure, and Dorney Park, all of 3 which have B&M Inverts (Great Bear, Batman The Ride, and Talon), are not too far from each-other, so that’s why I thought it was still safe for Kentucky Kingdom to replace their POS Vekoma SLC with a B&M Invert or Wing.
Would love to see you buy or sell "theme park predictions and more" cuz that would be an interesting if u collaborated or just got permission to respond too especially with CGA closing and CF drama high ;)
It is absolutely savable. The park has been saved before by the city and can be saved again. The zoning would have to be changed to do anything with the park and the city WILL not let them do this. Prologis would likely sell the land as it useless to them to a prospecting amusement company, such as six flags, busch, merlin, SeaWorld or anyone that wants to get it. I have a lot of hope
I think Cedar Fair will move some of Great America's coasters to Michigan's Adventure and Valley Fair. as far as the Dragster accident, I don't see that as the fault of Intimin. that ride operated for 17 years without hurting anyone. it's a maintenance issue
Please 😢 I'm moving to Rochester Mn this January and I'm a little mortified that I'm going from carowinds to Valleyfair. It'll still be fun, sure. But not the same. Probably just take the 5 hour drive to Chicago for 6 flags, honestly.
Cedar Fair did reduced maintenance in 2021 on purpose because of how little they operated in 2020. That's why this incident happened if they performed standard maintenance it wouldn't have happened
@@cameronbeaver6725 I moved from Illinois to Minnesota 8 years ago and still make the drive down to my home to go to great america. I finally got around to visiting valleyfair and it was fun. The short lines were a breath of fresh air and none of the rides are necessarily bad (except excalibur, that was extremely painful). Definitely not an allday type of park, but you can get tons of rerides and renegade is amazing. Go on a weekday, it's a walk on all day. Also, if it's a hot summer day, take advantage of being able to easily go between the waterpark and the dry park.
I won’t share a lot of detail but the COO of RMC was the keynote speaker at the coaster con banquet and he said something along the lines of “we have no issues working in Canada”
I think Michigan's Adventure is a prime candidate to get a ride from California's Great Adventure. If it were Railblazer, that could drive attendance exponentially.
I could totally see Michigan´s Adenture getting Railblazer as a replacement for their Corkscrew. The ride is already over 40 years old as is and Railblazer should be able to fit on that plot of Land.
The problem with MA is that it's too damn close to CP and Cedar Fair doesn't want it to compete with their flagship park. Nevertheless... would a small raptor be so much to ask? Surely these things are common enough now that they won't drive the CP crowd away?
WOF & VF are better markets & demographics thus likely higher in the pecking order for Railblazer. Dorney is also better however GAdv also has a Raptor so they might not want to put a small model vs the bigger, though the smaller model is actually a better/intense ride.
Why has a major amusement park never been built near Phoenix. There is literally nothing within 300 miles of a city with a 5 million people metropolitan area.
Summer months is when most people are looking to travel and go to theme parks. 100+ degree dry heat days are going to cause big problems for a theme park
I don't want to offend anyone's home park but valley fair or Michigan's adventure are only going to be getting a big brother's hand-me-down clothes from great America at best if it's anytime soon would be my prediction but you never know and it's just my guess.
I hope that parks like Valley Fair and Michigans Adventure will get at least a ride transferred from California’s Great Adventure, Michigans adventure needs a longer steel family coaster, it fits Cedar points vision for the park as well.
I think that Kumba has about 5-10 years left. Given B&M’s reliability and the ride’s overall popularity, I think that Busch Gardens Tampa should keep the ride running for as long as they can.

BUY or SELL: Most Vecoma SLCs will be retracted/replaced by 2035. Pretty much every SLC even now has a reputation of being TOO rough for comfort which likely will be not good for the long run over the next decade. This also goes to a lesser extent to Vecoma Boomerang coasters.
That's a half sell, most of the coasters there are 30+ years old and reaching the end of their service life. Unless a thorough inspection can guarantee about 10 more years of service life, they would probably scrap them. Older rides usually only get refurbished if it's cost efficient, and the GP demand the ride be saved.

Instead, they close the Universe of Energy and put in Guardians and ax the Mary Poppins expansion.
But what do I know? Disney is making profit, so they probably don't see a need to do anything until Universal makes a major move that threatens their profit line.
Disney's theme parks are currently sitting duck's. Yes, they are unique but Universal and Knotts have both competed successfully for years with universal really pushing Disney for the last decade.
Based on ticket sales and such Universal in Florida is giving WDW a major run for its money.
it will be interesting to see what happens to Disney's parks over the next year or so especially after the CEO is ousted.
Indiana Beach was dead and buried.
One of my Cleveland teams won a chip (Cavs 2016) before I died.
*THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE!!!*
Buy or Sell: The new Vekoma STC fails to get off the ground due to most potential buyers already having a B&M invert or an SLC already
Probably my favorite series on the channel. I like to hear the opinions on coaster theories.
P.S. Buy Or Sell: X2 gets some tlc or a retracking within the next decade to improve ride experience.
Buy or sell (Don't have to do all, just select the one(s) you're most interested):
1. Instead of the Raptor, Wild Water West will get a coaster no taller than there tallest Water Slide (65 feet)
2. by 2037, Either Arnold's Park closes for good or gets a Larson Loop/Splat-O-Sphere size power tower (preferably to replace that random playground set)
3. Adventureland (IA) gets 3+ Coasters by 2030 (with one being a kids coaster they definitely don't have)
4. The Underground at Adventureland gets removed by 2030 (preferably to get a new coaster)
5. see 4, but for the random circus at the park
6. Adventureland will put a coaster on there campgrounds by 2030
Nothing to do with Lost Island?? That park has tons of potential!
Buy or sell: especially given the recent news with the Bat, the Arrow suspended will be down to one model or totally gone within 10 years.
I don't think the model will shrink by that much, I could see Iron Dragon closing at Cedar Point and Vortex at Canada's Wonderland closing within the next decade, and maybe Ninja at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
@@JCBro-yg8vd TBF that's almost all of them...
@@thomasxl200 Indeed. That'd leave _Vampire_ at Chessington World of Adventures as the only Arrow suspended operating.
@Arrow Dynamics Inc. I hope you're right, being the die hard Arrow fan that I am. But given how quickly Kings Island just threw away Vortex, I'm not too optimistic.
I think valley fair will eventually get a hand me down from CGA when they finally pull the plug.
Hopefully the invert.
Michigan's Adventure probably deserves one better, even just something small scale.
@@spilledmilk4801 yeah hopefully flight deck doesn’t get scrapped. I can see how it would make a good fit at valley fair. It’s such a solid ride, super fast and intense, honestly my favorite at CGA. I can’t believe it’s gonna eventually leave cga, I can’t believe the park’s gonna close :(
@@beachboysswiftie The one problem with that idea is that Flight Deck is a terrain coaster, and even though Valleyfair does have some terrain to work with, there's no guarantee that it'll be the right kind of terrain.
That will then restart the twenty year gap between coasters it seems like
Kinda have to disagree about Disney “moving the competition and not the other way around.” Both Pandora and Galaxy’s Edge was reactionary to Wizarding World and Galaxy and Tron is a reaction to Hagrids and Velocicoaster. Universal can announce, build and open an entire attraction in 2 years compared to Disney’s 5 to 7 years. It will be interesting to see how Disney reacts when Epic Universe opens.
Tron was announced before even Hagrid's was announced. The fact that it could be potentially considered a reaction to Velocicoaster is embarrassing on Disney's part for taking this long to construct it
@@michaelmouse1638 …especially since it’s a clone of an attraction they’ve already built.
Buy Or Sell: With GCA closing Six Flags Discovery Kingdom will see increased investment, and they will slowly phase out animal attractions to make room for more thrill rides.
Buy or sell: Worlds of Fun gets a new coaster for their 50th anniversary but removes something else in the park
Buy or sell: the only CGA coaster to survive the park's closing will be Railblazer.
I think patriot has some life left
Buy or sell, Six flags will be the first park chain to open an S&S AXIS
I love these videos. They create so much comment interaction. Keep pumping them out. Anyways here are my three
Buy or sell: GADV gets a launch coaster for its 50th anniversary
Buy or sell: Europe finally gets a real giga (sorry red force) in the next five years
Buy or sell: Unless something radical happens, Formula Rossa’s speed record is never beaten again.
Buy or Sell: The new B&M stand up going to SeaWorld Orlando will be the only new generation B&M stand up to be built.
Probably not if it's a land deal. Unless property values take a major nosedive by the time the deal is closed, I doubt there's much of a chance for the park to be saved.
#ThoosiesCrashTheHousingMarket2022
Or if the government gets involved
I would argue that Guardians of the galaxy is Disney’s most thrilling coaster, but thats more-so due to the lack of other thrill coasters in the chain.
Buy or sell: Michigan’s adventure will get a relocation coaster from CGA
I'd bet on _Patriot_ since it seems like the best fit.
@@reillywalker195 Probably but I’m still really hoping for rail blazer
Cedar Fair was probably negotiating the sale last year and knew there was no sense in moving Wicked Twister anymore so they figured just scrap it
True
Buy or Sell: Silver Dollar City’s next major coaster is the worlds first ever RMC T-Rex coaster
Buy or sell: one of the small cedar fair parks gets railblazer from cga when it closes
Buy or Sell: We will see a full Titan Track coaster in the next few years.
Kumba will be around for quite a while. Look at the lochness monster at bg Williamsburg. That arrow is from 1977. They will keep Kumba going.
Buy or Sell: A new manufacturer of rides will open within the next decade (like rmc)
Buy or Sell: Cedar Point will close Top Thrill Dragster and get B&M to build the first strata coaster with a lift hill and break the length record
That’d be the only way I’d support them taking it down without some sort of goodbye rides/goodbye season.
Speaking of, there are comments on other videos with links to leave feedback for cedar point. Go there and let’s give them a piece of our minds on TTD’s potential removal! I think the comments I saw were in some of Theme Park Prediction’s videos.
This or a 500-foot T. rex. That’s the only way I won’t riot (as much) about Dragster getting removed.
Buy or sell: Cedar fair will close one of their smaller parks due to debt in the next 15 years
As for the new entrance for Wonderland, there are markers everywhere at the front, the grassy part where Leviathans turn is. I'd like to see Rmc at Wonderland. Maybe Wildebeast. I don't want to say this but if Wonderland removes Minebuster for a water park expansion. Buy or sell?
Buy Or Sell: Cedar Fair will add 3 new coasters, going to Cedar Point, Carowinds & Kings Island, going with the parks patterns.
Thanks for getting to my question!! Loved your opinion
Buy or Sell: Magic Mountain gets a giga in the next 5 to compete with knotts
Buy or sell:
Disney World will not see another major coaster for at least 5 years after Tron and Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind
Can we all agree the carousel Colombia is probably the most beautiful ride ever created
"Riding Do-Dodonpa is like getting hit by a truck"
>gets on ride

I think there are still chances to save Great America. The city will put up a fight against it. In terms of theme park history, there's a lot of important pieces here. The park isn't what it was in its heyday with Yankee Harbor and Yukon Territory....but they still have a few Arrow attractions and a VR101 Skyway and the Carousel... those things are really important. My hope is that another company buys it and keeps it as a theme park....idk...even if they reduced the footprint a bit to make it more cohesive...
When the time comes, just like in 1985, the City is gonna do everything they can to save the park.
RMC has worked in Canada. They put topper track on Monstre :)
I absolutely love this series! Here’s some of my ideas!
Buy or sell: SFGA’s next coaster will be a dual launched coaster themed to a DC character
Buy or sell: S&S will not make anymore free spins
Buy or Sell: The next giga will go to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Buy or Sell: Mall of America will go bankrupt and Nickelodeon universe will permanently closed
Hope you use some of my ideas in your video!
Buy or Sell: The first axis coaster in North America will go to SFOG, and it will be a launch variant
Buy or Sell: Discovery Kingdom will remove Kong for a wooden coaster
Buy or sell:
We will see a new giga on the cedar fair chain in 5-10 years
But or Sell: Valleyvair does get their B&M invert from California’s Great America (flight deck)
You should make top ten pre-lift
I don't want gold striker scrapped.
3:12 and as you said in the parody, the launch is like being shot out of a gun
I won’t share a lot of detail but the COO of RMC was the keynote speaker at the coaster con banquet and he said something along the lines of “we have no issues working in Canada”
I think Michigan's Adventure is a prime candidate to get a ride from California's Great Adventure. If it were Railblazer, that could drive attendance exponentially.
I could totally see Michigan´s Adenture getting Railblazer as a replacement for their Corkscrew. The ride is already over 40 years old as is and Railblazer should be able to fit on that plot of Land.
@@Soonjai that would be an amazing front of the park replacement
For some reason I think they will keep everything status quo.
Buy or sell: Invertigo gets relocated, not scrapped
Please Cedar Fair, that ride is lots of fun and would be awesome with new trains
Why has a major amusement park never been built near Phoenix. There is literally nothing within 300 miles of a city with a 5 million people metropolitan area.
Does castles and coasters count?
Summer months is when most people are looking to travel and go to theme parks. 100+ degree dry heat days are going to cause big problems for a theme park
It's too hot. Can you imagine having to work ride ops there?
Because there’s nothing in Arizona other than a few big cities and a giant hole.
A PHX park would have to be indoors.
I don't want to offend anyone's home park but valley fair or Michigan's adventure are only going to be getting a big brother's hand-me-down clothes from great America at best if it's anytime soon would be my prediction but you never know and it's just my guess.
Buy or sell: Universal will greatly expand their Hollywood park, similar to Universal Orlando
They are very land locked and on the side of a mountain. I don’t know how they would do it well
I'm sure eventually a new ride will pop up behind Transformers and Mummy, but a huge expansion or a large, outdoor coaster? Definitely not.

The only things that have to be changed with Haunted Mine Drop are the height requirement and frequent safety precautions.

SFGAm has been saying on their fb page lately that they're not going to convert the eagle to an RMC.

Pretty much every SLC even now has a reputation of being TOO rough for comfort which likely will be not good for the long run over the next decade. And with how Vecoma has a very minor presence stateside atm support for them may be limited considering the status SLCs have at parks that use them.
This also goes to a lesser extent to Vecoma Boomerang coasters.
Buy or sell: Valley Fair, Michigan's Adventure, and World's of Fun all received at least one relocated coaster from CGA
So sad to hear about CGA. As a native Illinoisan, hearing about another Great America on the other side of the country with the same carousel out front but different rides always fascinated me. I’ve never been but I’d really like to make it my goal to visit before the eventual closure
