Started following your channel! Great stuff. Find it personal and genuine. For your blister problem. Have you ever tried double socks? Thin layer first and hiking socks second. Cheers!
Cheers! Yes, I have invested in some thin silk socks to go under my thicker ones. I used them 2 times until a friend told me about mountaineering compression socks. The compression socks have solved all of my feet issues. They are worth checking out. Cheers. www.smartwool.com/shop/phd-pro-mountaineer-socks-sw001095
Nut Butter packets, wish we'd had those on our trip! We took trail mix and clif bars...total fail. The gorp tasted like cardboard up high (also too fumbly with gloves on!) and the clif bars froze. Womp womp.
Did you bring a probe or beacon? I've heard mixed things about needing to bring one because if you are roped up and get hit by an avalanche there's not much to do about it...
Jerónimo Duvanced I didn’t weight it but probably around 40ish? It’s tough to think back. My bag was a 35 degree bag but my sleeping pad is super warm (x-therm max). I stayed warm all night. Hope this helps.
Of course. The pocket rocket was a terrible idea. Luckily someone in my crew had a wind burner. I've since purchased a Reactor and will never look back. Cheers!
Nice video dude, well laid out. Have a good time :-) If you have the chance have a look at the Yi 4K, I did a big trip around Yellowstone, Casper, Colorado Springs etc and the Yi worked really well with my Sony A7iii
The Yi 4K puts out a really crisp image and is just as good as the GoPro. Goor build, battery and functionality all round. I've had every GoPro from the V1 and I'm more than happy with the Yi. The A7iii is a beast and I'm still leaning - We started a new FB group if your interested facebook.com/groups/277077932848461/ I got some stunning stuff from the A7iii when I traveled the west a few weeks ago. I'll upload them to my website soon www.G6photography.com :-)
You forgot to add bengay/aspercreme, tylenol, nasal spray to stop a runny nose, and ibuprofen. I really like that you added blister protection.
My buddy had it but yep, your right!

You had me at 100 SPF. Instant sub.
This is the way. 100spf for life.
Who did you go through to summit? Who did you practice mountaineering with weeks prior? I am very interested!!
We went unguided. Drove to rainier several times to practice crevasse rescue and self arrest. Also practiced in our back yard :)

Ya live ya learn! Did you summit?!
@@benmaundvisuals Yes, July 17, 2010, via the Emmons-Winthrop Route. Perfect weather and beautiful views!
What model Julbo sunglasses are those?

A buddy who I was roped to had a Garmin in-reach. No probe or beacon though.
4:25 - buy Leukotape and tape your heels at the trailhead. No need to carry anything else.
I'd have to agree, its like another layer of skin.
Best blister treatment ever
total weight for this set up? I cant seem to be under 45 lbs when I include snow shoes to my list
I didn't weight it but probably around there.
How much weight was that all? And how many degrees the sleeping bag should handle?? Thanks for the advises

What’s a pocket rocket?
Nice video. Assuming you survived. Wear Sox next time. Bare feet are no bueno!
Survived with socks and all. Thanks for checkin. :)
Thanks for the video, Sir!
How did the pocket rocket work up there? Do you wish you had something more similar to a JetBoil?
Of course. The pocket rocket was a terrible idea. Luckily someone in my crew had a wind burner. I've since purchased a Reactor and will never look back. Cheers!

xrayhead I will Check into it! How’s it compare to the GoPro?? Also-how are you liking the a7iii?

bro you did Rainer in a rie half dome?... that's a three-season tent, right?
Yep, did it in July. Worked great...just a little heavy so we split up the tent between 2 of us.
