Setup an Auto-Reply for Distribution List | Microsoft Office 365 Portal | MS Exchange

Hi, Great content and thanks for sharing this, I was able to setup auto reply for a distribution list referring your video. I have one question though, for my case if a member under the distribution list also set auto reply when the user is away it also goes to the sender along with auto reply for the distribution list, any other way to resolve this and just send the auto reply for DL.?

I also have same problem, when users of the distribution list also have their own auto reply, then everything is sent to sender.
Any ideas how to solve this problem. It is really anoying that exchange does not include solution for this basic things.

Hey guys, first of all thanks for watching this video and I'm glad it helped you in some way. Unfortunately there is no other way to stop receiving auto-replies from other members of the DL, that is one of the drawback we have here. One thing can be done here to minimize the auto-replies from other members is to setup their auto-reply using server-side while setting up the auto-reply for auto-reply mailbox as client-side, this will limit the emails coming from other mailboxes.

Are you done with the Powershell step? Also check by sending the email directly to the mailbox on which you have setup the autoreply as to check if the issue is on DL's end or mailbox's end
